May Twin Post–Sunflowers

Skoro smo na kraju Maja meseca, tako da je došao red na još jedan Twin Post. Ovog meseca, moj "blizanac" je Jessica sa bloga Be Happy and Buy Polish. 

Tema koju smo dobile su suncokreti, imale smo ideju da napravimo narandžasto-žuti vertikalni gradijent, na četvrtom noktu jedan veliki suncokret sa lišćem, a na ostalim noktima male suncokrete. Sve je zvučalo idealno, ali nažalost, moj gradijent se skoro uopšte ne vidi. Veliki suncokret je ispao veći nego što sam mislila, a malih suncokreta je previše. Ipak, zadovoljna sam kako smo nacrtale :).

Koristila sam : Essence - Doc, theBalm - Mellow Yellow i akrilne boje. 

We are almost at the end of the month May, so it time for another Twin Post. This month, my "twin" is Jessica from Be Happy and Buy Polish blog.

Theme that we got was Sunflowers, and we had idea to make orange-yellow vertical gradient, on accent nail to make one big sunflower with leaves, and on other nails small sunflowers. It all sounded ideal, but unfortunately, you can't even see my gradient. Big sunflower is bigger than I thought it would be, and there are too many small sunflowers. Still, I love how we draw everything :). 

I used : Essence - Doc, theBalm - Mellow Yellow and acrylic paints.

Bunny in a grass

Uskrs je jako blizu, a ja volim da svake godine napravim nekoliko Uskršnjih nail art-ova a zatim da najlepši napravim opet za sam Uskrs. Moj prvi Uskršnji manikir ove godine je sa zečićem u travi punoj cveća. Nažalost, ovaj zeka izgleda malo ljuto, ali to je možda jer je Uskrs TEK za 5 dana.

Koristila sam Essence - Fall For Me - i akrilne boje.

Easter is really close, and I like to make each year a few of Easter nail arts and then choose the prettiest and do it again to wear on Easter day. My first Easter manicure this year is with bunny in a grass full of flowers. Unfortunately, this bunny looks a little bit angry, but maybe it is because Easter is in JUST 5 days.

I used Essence - Fall For Me and acrylic paints.

Matching Manicure - Flowers

U poslednje vreme sam oduševljena pečatiranjem hologramskim lakovima. Vodila sam se onim da je skuplje - bolje, tako da sam pokušavala sa China Glaze i Layla lakovima međutim bilo je bezuspešno. Kako su nam stigli sunčani dani, obratila sam malo više pažnje na moje holo lakove, i setila se da imam celu Perfect Holographic kolekciju (da, potpuno sam zaboravila na njih). Uspela sam iz prvog pokušaja da ispečatiram cvetiće, što je i tema za današnji Matching Manicure.

Koristila sam : Avon - Violetta, Perfect H04 i Perfect H06. Pločica sa koje sam pečatirala ima naziv Disc-02 i možete je naći u Alexandar Cosmetics-u.

Lately, I really like when I see stamping with holographic polishes. I thought that the more expensive polish is, bigger is chance that it will be good for stamping, so I mostly tried with China Glaze and Layla polishes but it was unsuccessful. Since there were few sunny days in a row, I paid more attention to my holo polishes, and remembered that I have whole Perfect Holographic collection (yes, I forgot about it). It worked from the first try and I stamped flowers which were the theme for this week Matching Manicure.

I used : Avon - Violetta, Perfect H04 and Perfect H06. Stamping plate that I used is Disc-02 bought in Serbian store Alexandar Cosmetics.

Matching Manicure - Saran Wrap

Nisam koristila Saran Wrap tehniku baš dugo. A volim je. Zabavna je i nikada ne znam šta će na kraju ispasti. Zbog ovih prolećnih dana koje smo imali ove nedelje, odlučila sam da je napravim moj prvi cvetni manikir ove godine. Koristila sam : Classics - 135, Essence - The One and Only, Miyo - Black, Gina Tricot Beauty - Bright Peach i pločicu BM - 221.

I haven't used Saran Wrap technique for a really long time. And I like it. It is fun and I never know what it will turn out in the end. Because of these spring days that we had this week, I decided to make my first flower mani this year. I used : Classics - 135, Essence - The One and Only, Miyo - Black, Gina Tricot Beauty - Bright Peach and BM-221 stamping plate.

Matching Manicures–Nimbus

Ove nedelje za temu Matching Manicure-a je predložen Nimbus. Priznajem, nisam imala pojma šta je nimbus.

Da skrenemo malo sa teme nimbusa, i uopšte noktiju. Recite mi, da vidite negde natpis "Dlakavo žbunasto voće" da li biste poželeli da ga kupite? Mene su izgubili već na "dlakavo". Morate priznati, važan deo marketinga je brendiranje, i samo ime mnogo utiče na percepciju proizvoda. To je bilo jedno od imena, a onda su izvoznici sa Novog Zelanda shvatili da ga ljudi iz Evrope i Amerike baš i ne prihvataju... Pa su promenili ime u Kivi. Znate onu malu zelenu ptičicu Kivi? Plan je i bio da vas asocira nju, a i ime je samo po sebi mnogo pamtljivije i naravno ljudi su ga prihvatili. Priznajem, obožavam kivi.

Vratimo se sada na nokte. Sećate li se da je postojala watercolor tehnika? Znate ono, umočite četkicu u lak, pa u vodu i pravite tačkice na noktima? A onda se neko dosetio da zameni vodu acetonom, a četkicu čačkalicom za uši, i dao mu zvučno ime - nimbus. Malo podseća na Hari Potera. I ljudi su ga prihvatili kao da je u pitanju ne znam ni ja kakva inovacija. Evo te inovacije... 

This week for Matching Manicures theme someone suggested Nimbus. I admit, I had no idea what nimbus is.

Let's talk about something that is not nimbus, or nails, related. Tell me, if you see a sign in a store that says "Hairy Bush Fruit" would you want to buy it? They lost me on "hairy". You have to admit, important part of marketing is brand, and name really effects on perception of product. It was one of the names, and then exporters from New Zealand realized that people from Europe and America don't really accept it... So they changed the name to Kiwi. You know that little bird called Kiwi? The plan was to make a connection between Kiwi fruit and Kiwi bird in peoples brain, and the name Kiwi itself is more easier to remember and of course people accepted it. I admit, I love Kiwi. 

Let's get back to nails. Do you remember watercolour technique? You know, put a brush in nail polish, then in water and make dots on nails? And than someone switched water with acetone and brush with q-tip, and it a name that sound really good - nimbus. It kind of reminds on Harry Potter. And people accepted it like it is some big innovation. Here is that innovation...

Nikada nisam volela tehniku sa vodenim bojama, previše je nedefenisano sve što nastane kada se ona koristi. Kod mene, mora da bude nekih oštrih linija :). Sredila sam stvar sa pečatom sa pločice BM-225.

I never like water color technique, everything made with it is too much undefined. With me, everything has to have sharp lines :). So I fixed it with stamp from plate BM-225.

Roses...finally!

U zadnje vreme bila sam mnogo lenja. Prvo sam bila lenja da lakiram nokte. Da mi je neko rekao da će mi se to ikada dogoditi, ne bi verovala. Ali dogodilo se. Zatim sam počela da ih povremeno lakiram, ali sam bila lenja da sednem i napišem post. Sve sam uredno uploadovala ali ovih par rečenica koje sam morala da smislim mi se činilo kao jako težak zadatak. Sada nokte opet skoro redovno lakiram, a vreme je da počnem da redovnije i pišem.

Pre nekih dve nedelje, dobila sam poštu i priznajem da je to ono što me je podstaklo da sednem i nalakiram nokte posle dužeg vremena. U pitanju je paketić iz kkcenterhk.com sa ovom divnom pločicom koju sam prosto morala odmah da isprobam.

Ime pločice je F08 a sadrži ukupno devet sličica koje možete ispečatirati na nokte. Isprobala sam ih sve na papiru, i skoro sve su se transferovale odlično.

Lately I was really lazy. First I was lazy to polish my nails. If somebody told me that that could happend, I would never believe it. But it happend. Then I started polishing my nails occasionaly, but I was to lazy to sit down and write a post. I did uploaded posts but these few sentances that I needed to write seemed like a really hard task. Now I polish my nails almost daily, and it is time for me to start writing.

A few weeks ago, I got mail and I admit that that was the thing that pushed me to sit down and polish my nails after long time. It is a package from kkcenterhk.com with this lovely stamping plate that I just had to try out imidiatelly.

Name of the plate is F08 and is has total of 9 images that you can stamp over nails. I tried them all on paper, and most of it transfered great.

Na noktima sam želela da isprobam ove dve divne ruže. Pretpostavljam da ruže nisu teške ni za nacrtati, a i postoji toliko tutorijala na internetu, ali mi nikada nije palo na pamet da sednem i stvarno probam da ih nacrtam. Zahvaljujući ovoj pločici, napokon imam ruže na noktima :).

Podloga je Perfect #08, bela boja kojom sam nanosila sličice pečatom je Farmasi 02, a žute tačkice su napravljene akrilnom bojom.

On nails I wanted to try out these lovely two roses. I suppose that drawing roses on nails is pretty easy to do, and there are so many tutorials online, but it had never crossed my mind to sit and just try to draw them. Thanks to these plate, I finally have roses on nails :).

Base color is Perfect #08, white color which I used for stamping is Farmasi 02, and yellow dots are made with acrylic paint.

Mint with Black Flowers

Danas sam mislila da se malo zabavim i da isprobam novi FlorMar lak koji sam kupila. Flormar Wet Look WL02 ima divnu mint nijansu u koju sam se zaljubila na prvi pogled. Prekrivao bi nokat u samo dva sloja laka. Namerno kažem "bi" jer ja nisam bila te sreće. Zadesila me je pogrešna bočica, sa četkicom koja je na nekim mestima duža, na nekim kraća. Nisam imala vremena da je sređujem, pa sam se samo potrudila da je obuzdam, i uspelo je. Nakon toga, uzela sam pločicu za pečatiranje BM-220 i napravila sa strane noktiju crne cvetiće. Sve je izgledalo toliko lepo, dok god nisam premazala Top Coat i uspela da razmažem jedan cvetić :(.

Today I wanted to have some fun and to try out new FlorMar nail polish that I bought. FlorMar Wet Look WL002 has a beautiful mint shade that I fell in love with on the first sight. It would cover nail in just two coats of polish. I say "would" intentionally just because I wasn't that lucky. I got a bottle with mistake, with brush that is partially long, partially short. I didn't have time to fix it, so I just tried to work with it, and it was good. After that, I took a stamping plate BM-220 and made black flowers on the sides of the nails. It all looked so pretty, until I applied Top Coat and smudged one flower :(.

Zanemarite taj jedan nokat. Kako vam se sviđa ostatak?

Flowers in Blue

Videla sam ovakve cvetiće na suknji moje ujne i odmah su mi u glavi bili isti takvi cvetići nacrtani na noktima. Požurila sam kući i nacrtala ih, kako ne bi zaboravila ovu ideju (što mi se često dešava). Tamno plava podloga sa svetlo plavim cvetićima oivičeni belom bojom. Više je za proleće, ali i ovog letnjeg dana može da posluži :). Koristila sam lak za nokte Gade #446 i akrilne boje.

I saw these flowers on my aunts skirt and I already had in my mind picture of that same flowers on nails. I went home and draw them, because I didn't want to forget this idea (which happens a lot of times). Dark blue base color with light blue flowers bordered with white. It's more for spring, but it can be wearable on this summer day too :). I used Gade #446 nail polish and acrylic paints. 

Šta mislite? Da li bi nosile ovakvu suknju?

WOW with Flowers

Wow #309 je lak koji sam dobila iz Izraela. Bočica me je nasmejala već na prvi pogled zbog slatkog malog cvetića umesto slova O, a boja u njoj se činila crvenom. Na noktima, boja je postala neonsko narandžasta sa mat  završetkom. Na nju sam dodala i par tačkastih cvetića sa theBalm - Oh My Goth. 

Wow #309 is a polish that I got from Israel. Bottle made me smile on a first look because of a cute little flower instead of letter O, and color in it looked red. On nails, color became kind of neon orange with matte finish. Over it, I added few dotted flowers with theBalm - Oh My Goth. 

Sve u svemu, lepa boja za ove tople letnje dane. Da li se vama dopada?

Nude with Pink Flowers

Današnji dan nije bio toliko topao, pa je moje raspoloženje bilo pravo prolećno. Čini mi se, kao da uvek kasnim sa godišnjim dobima :). Možda prvi put u mom životu, nalakirala sam nude lak za nokte, Rapsodi #304. Ne volim baš nešto nude lakove, jednostavno jer se sa njima osećam golo :D. Kako bi ih ipak napravila malo veselijim, nacrtala sam cvetiće rozom akrilnom bojom. 

Today there was not a warm day, so my mood was like it is spring. It seems to me that like I'm always late with seasons :). Maybe for the first time in my life, I painted my nails with nude nail polish, Rapsodi #304. I'm not really into the nudes, just because I feel kind of naked with them :D. To make them a little bit more cheerful, I added some pink flowers with acrylic paint.

White Flowers on Holo Base

Kada sam rano jutros lakirala nokte, odlučila sam se za hologramski lak, Catherine Arley #806. A onda sam pogledala kroz prozor i učinilo mi se da ćemo imati još jedan sivi dan sa puno kiše. Shvatila sam da se holo lepota verovatno neće ni videti, pa sam ga premazala sa China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, mlečno belim lakom sa puno šarenih šljokica. Na sve to sam dodala nekoliko belih cvetića i crnih tačkica, i evo kako je ispalo...

When I painted my nails early in the morning, I decided to go with holographic nail polish, Catherine Arley #806. And then I looked through the window and it seemed to me like we will have another grey day with lot of rain. I realized that my holo nails won't show their true holoness, so I covered it with China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, milky white nail polish with lot of colorful glitter. And on top of everything, I added few white flowers and black dots, and here it is...

Kao što možete predpostaviti, dan je bio sunčan. Možda bi lepše sve ovo izgledalo da sam ostavila samo holo narandžastu podlogu. Šta vi mislite?
