The New 31 Day Challenge : Watercolor

Proslo je stvarno mnogo vremena od kada sam zadnji put radila ovu tehniku. Iskreno, mislim da sam je samo jednom i radila, nije mi se nesto posebno svidela, i odustala. Ali, danas sam je ponovila. Odlucila sam se za sarenu varijantu jer makar malo umanjuje "neuredan" efekat. 

Kostila sam lakove : Art de Lautrec #66, Essence - Love of Pink, Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Disney Villains #26, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude?, Catrice - Run Forest Run, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold, Essence - Bad Girl i Catherine Arley #08.  

It's been a really long time since I did this technique on my nails. To be honest, I think I did it once, I didn't like it, and I gave up. And today I did it again. I decided for colorful version, because "messy" effect is less visible.

I used nail polishes : Art de Lautrec #66, Essence - Love of Pink, Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Disney Villains #26, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude?, Catrice - Run Forest Run, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold, Essence - Bad Girl and Catherine Arley #08.

Random Swatches

Cesto mi se desi da krenem da lakiram nokte, napravim swatch odredjenog laka, krenem da crtam nesto po noktima i to ne ispadne lepo. Tada odlucim da vam ni ne pokazem nail art, a slike swatcheva ostaju na mom hard disku. Danas vam pokazujem sve one lakove koje sam isprobala u zadnjih 2-3 meseca, a preko kojih je nail art bio previse los da bi bio ovde.

It happens often. I start polishing my nails, do a swatch of specific nail polish, start to do nail art and that doesn't look nice. Then, I decide to leave nail art unpublished, and swatch pictures stay in my hard drive. Today I'm gonna show you all of those polishes that I tried in the last 2-3 months, over which was nail art that was to bad to be here.

Turquoise Glitter Sandwich

Nastavljam sa gliterima :). Ideja je bila da napravim gliter sendvic, ali ocigledno, od ovog "malog" broja lakova koje imam, retko koji je jelly. Zato sam krenula ovim redom... Miss Sporty - Hypnotic Turquoise koji ste mogli da vidite pre par meseci ovde... Zatim, prvi put isprobane Essence sljokice iz Snow White kolekcije - Prince Charming. 

Continuing with glitters :). Idea was to make a glitter sandwich, but obviously, in this "small" amount off nail polishes that I own, there are almost none with jelly finish. I started with Miss Sporty - Hypnotic Turquoise that you could see few months ago here... Then, first time tried on Essence glitters from  Snow White collection - Prince Charming. 

Ovaj princ i nije toliko los, ali mu ipak nedostaje jos ovih tamno plavih sestouganih glitera. Tu je na scenu stupio Essence - Glorious Aquarius koji ih ima punoooo :).

This prince isn't that bad, but I think there are really small amount of those dark blue hexagonal glitter. That's why I applied Essence - Glorious Aquarius over it, it's full of them :). 

A onda, momenat kada se sve upropasilo. Ne znam zasto sam mislila da je ovaj lak jelly... Nije. Disney Villains - Ursula (42) je prelep, sa mnogo sitnih holo sljokica ali nije jelly... Srecom, i dalje se vide pomalo oni silni gliteri od ranije ;). 

And then, a moment when I ruined everything. I don't know why I tought that this nail polish is jelly... It's not. Disney Villains - Ursula (42) is beautiful, with lots of tiny holo shimmer but it doesn't have jelly finish... Luckily, you can still see some of those glitters from earlier ;).

Da li vam se dopada? Imate li neki (ne tako skup, a relativno dostupan za kupiti) lak sa jelly finishom da preporucite?

Disney Villains - Queen of Heart

Secate li se ovih lepih bocica? Nisam mogla da izdrzim dugo, a da ih ne isprobam. Prvo sam zgrabila koralno crveni (ne pitajte me zasto, cak ni ne volim crvenu boju toliko),... Disney Villains - #26 - Queen of Hearts. Nisam nikada volela Alisu u Zemlji Cuda, pa ni ovu Dizni zlocu. Da se vratimo na lak...

Pravo razocarenje. Iako u bocici lak vuce na crveno, na noktima je vise narandzast. Ima jelly finish, sto bas i ne volim, zato sto i posle 5 slojeva laka, ostaje vidljiva linija nokta. Iskreno, posle treceg je izgledao potpuno isto kao i posle petog. Susi se prilicno sporo, tako da ovom laku dajem ocenu 2/5, i to samo zato sto je Dizni u pitanju :).

Do you remember these gorgeous bottles? I couldn't wait longer, I had to try them out. First I grabbed coral red one (don't ask me why, I don't even like red color that much),... Disney Villains - #26 - Queen of Hearts. I never loved Alice in Wonderland, either this Disney Villains. Let's get back to polish...

True disappointment. Although it looks red in the bottle, on nails it's more orange. It has jelly finish, that I don't like, and after 5 coats of polish, there is still visible nail line. To be honest, after third coat it looked exactly the same as after the fifth one. It dries very slow, so I give this polish 2/5, and that's only because it is Disney :).

Nail Mail & Haul in July

Ubedjena sam da necu kupiti vise ni jedan lak ovog meseca, i to samo zbog toga sto idem na letovanje sledece nedelje. Pa, da vam pokazem koji su se novi lakovi pridruzili mojoj kolekciji. Ono cemu sam se najvise obradovala, stigao mi je swap paketic od Nicole sa Epitome of Superficialit bloga. Posle 5 meseci u putu od Singapura do Srbije, iskreno, mislila sam da je izgubljen i da nikada nece stici. Kad ono, postar :). Diznijeve zloce su prelepe, i kao veliki fan Diznijevih crtaca, ne mogu da docekam da ih probam. 

I'm convinced that I won't buy any more polish this month, only because I'm going on vacation next week. So, let me show you which new polishes joined my stash. The ones that I am most glad, I got a swap package from Nicole from Epitome of Superficiality blog. After 5 months in transit from Singapore to Serbia, to be honest, I thought it was lost and that it will never arrive. And then, mailman :). Disney Villains are gorgeous, and as a huge fan of Disney cartoons, I can't wait to try them out.   

Sledeca dva sam dobila od moje tetke za rodjendan. U pitanju su dva pucajuca laka. Ako prepoznajete naziv marke prvog, recite mi, posto nisam sigurna kako se zove, a broj je #08. Zeleni lak je Rose Girl #19.

Next two, I got from my aunt for birthday. Two crackle nail polishes. If you recognize name of the first one, tell me, because I'm not sure how to name it, and number is #08. Green one is Rose Girl #19.

Prosle srede, bilo je 20% snizenje u Lilly drogerijama na sve lakove za nokte, i otisla sam planirajuci da kupim mnogo toga. Srecom po moj novcanik, izbor je bio jako mali, pa sam uzela samo jedan, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold. Isti dan, popodne, bila sam u Madjarskoj u shopping, i kupila Farmasi #74.

Last Wednesday, there was a 20% off sale in Lilly stores on all nail polishes, and I went with a plan to buy a lot of things. Luckily for my wallet, there were only polishes left, so I took one, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold. Same day, in the afternoon, I was shopping in Hungary, and bought Farmasi #74.

China Glaze Kaleidoscope kolekcija se pojavila i nestala jos pre par godina. U Srbiji se retko mogu pronaci nove kolekcije bilo kog brenda, ali prednost je sto starih jos uvek imamo :). Zato sam malo prosetala po prodavnicama i pronasla dva holo laka iz ove kolekcije, He's Going in Circles i It's my turn. 

China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection was in stores few years ago. In Serbia, you can rarely find new collections of any brand, but advantage is that we still have old ones :). That's why I went for a little store dusty hunting and found two holo polishes from this collection, He's Going in Circles and It's my turn.
