Easter Chick with flowers

Uskrs je sutra a moji nokti su već spremni. To opet ne znači da sutra neću smisliti nešto novo i napraviti novi manikir. Danas je na mojim noktima mnogo cveća, nekoliko leptirića i naravno - pile kao jedan od simbola Uskrsa. 

Koristila sam Art de Lautrec #421, Bundle Monster pločicu za pečatiranje BM-H010 i akrilne boje.

Easter is tomorrow and my nails are already ready. That doesn't mean that I won't think of something new tomorrow and make new manicure. Today on my nails there are lot of flowers, few butterflies and of course - chick as one of the Easter symbols. 

I used Art de Lautrec #421, Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-H010 and acrylic paints.

Winter Wonderland

Napravila sam ovaj nail art još pre nekih mesec dana, kada mi je naišla inspiracija... Međutim, ko za inat, nije bilo ni jedne pahuljice napolju tako da mi je bilo pomalo nelogično da vam pokažem, i čekala sam posebnu priliku. Sneg.

Nikada nisam bila na planini, ali želim. Zamislite da ste, u ovim hladnim danima, negde na planini, u maloj kućici pored kamina iz kojeg pucketa vatra, i uživate u zimskim čarolijama...

I have made this nail art about a month ago, when I had inspiration... But, you know how it goes, there was not one single snowflake outside, so it was a little bit strange to show you this, so I waited for the special day. Day with snow.

I have never been on the mountain, but I want to. Imagine that you are, in these cold days, somewhere on the mountain, in a small house, spending time next to a warm fireplace fire, enjoying winter wonderland...

Cinderella

Ako ste bile ovde negde tokom marta, sigurno ste pročitale da sam veoma zauzeta zbog jednog malog projekta. Projekat je bio velik, a u pitanju je takmičenje u crtanju na plastičnim tipsama u kutiji. Tema je bila Bajke Braće Grim, a ja sam se odlučila za moju omiljenu, Pepeljugu. Trebalo mi je mnogo vremena ali uspela sam da je nacrtam. Nekima se svidela, nekima ne, ali meni je bitno sa sam ja zadovoljna sobom. Ovaj post ću ostaviti lepim, tako da vam neću pričati ništa više o takmičenju (za priču o tome, svratite sutra). Takođe, moram priznati i da je bio izazov crtati na ovako velikim tipsama. Iako, ako se ja pitam, veća je umetnost znati nacrtati nešto na jednom kvadratnom centimetru nego na ovoliko velikom platnu. 

Posebno bi želela da se zahvalim sajtu Born Pretty Store jer bez njihovog sponzorisanog materijala ne bi uspela sve ovo da napravim tako kako jeste. 

Lista korišćenog materijala je predugačka, nikada ranije nisam upotrebila toliko različitih lakova (35!), ali ipak ću vam je napisati : 

If you were here in March, I'm sure you read that I was very busy with one little project. Project was huge, and it is contest for nail art on tips in box. Theme was Grimms' Fairy Tales and I chose my favorite, Cinderella. It took a lot of time and effort to draw it. Someone like it, someone dislike it, but most important thing for me is that I was satisfied with my work. I will leave this post nice so I won't tell you anything else about this contest (for story about it, come back tomorrow). Also, I have to admit that it was a challenge to draw on such a huge tips. Although, if you ask me, I think that it is harder and challenging to draw on a small nail than on such a huge canvas.

Triangle Nail Art

Danas sam se malo igrala sa trakicama koje sam kupila u Born Pretty Store-u jos pre skoro pola godine (mozete ih naci i u Alexandar Cosmetics-u). Iskreno, lakse mi je da pravim ovakve kombinacije boja sa ovim trakicama nego sa selotejpom zato sto su tanje i lakse ih je lepiti i skidati sa noktiju. Prvo sam nalakirala nokte sa Essence - Grumpy, a zatim sam nalepila trakice po dijagonalama noktiju. Gornje trouglove sam premazala sa Golden Rose Scale Effect #11, dok sam donje trouglove nalakirala sa (od leva ka desno) : Miyo - Papaya, Art de Lautrec #65, theBalm - Hella Yella i Essence - Flowerfields.

Today I played with stripping tape that I bought in Born Pretty Store about half year ago. To be honest, it's easier to me to make this kind of color combination with stripping tape than with scotch tape because they are thinner and they are easier to apply/remove from nails. First I painted my nails with Essence - Grumpy, and then I putted the tape on diagonals of the nails. Upper triangles are topped with Golden Rose Scale Effect #11, and I painted downer triangles with (from left to right) :  Miyo - Papaya, Art de Lautrec #65, theBalm - Hella Yella and Essence - Flowerfields.

The New 31 Day Challenge : Watercolor

Proslo je stvarno mnogo vremena od kada sam zadnji put radila ovu tehniku. Iskreno, mislim da sam je samo jednom i radila, nije mi se nesto posebno svidela, i odustala. Ali, danas sam je ponovila. Odlucila sam se za sarenu varijantu jer makar malo umanjuje "neuredan" efekat. 

Kostila sam lakove : Art de Lautrec #66, Essence - Love of Pink, Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Disney Villains #26, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude?, Catrice - Run Forest Run, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold, Essence - Bad Girl i Catherine Arley #08.  

It's been a really long time since I did this technique on my nails. To be honest, I think I did it once, I didn't like it, and I gave up. And today I did it again. I decided for colorful version, because "messy" effect is less visible.

I used nail polishes : Art de Lautrec #66, Essence - Love of Pink, Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Disney Villains #26, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude?, Catrice - Run Forest Run, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold, Essence - Bad Girl and Catherine Arley #08.

Rhinestone Picker Wax Pen

Kada sam videla ovu olovku na sajtu Born Pretty Store-a, priznajem da me je jako zaintrigiralo cemu sluzi. Kaze na sajtu : Rhinestone Picker Wax Pen. Ne znam za vas, ali ja cesto izbegavam da koristim cirkone zato sto mi duze treba da uzmem i postavim cirkone na ono mesto koje je po meni savrseno, nego da nacrtam nesto jednostavno :). A da ne pricam o onom mucenju sa pincetom ili cackalicom... U paketu dobijete dve ovakve olovke, koje morate da zarezete pre upotrebe. 

When I saw this pen on Born Pretty Store web page, I admit I was intrigued what does it do. It's called : Rhinestone Picker Wax Pen. I don't know about you, but I often avoid using rhinestones just because it takes longer to pick and place it on a right spot, then to draw something simple :). In this package, you get two of this pens, but you have to sharpen them before use.

Nalakirala sam nokte sa Art de Lautrec #99, a zatim pokusala da uhvatim jedan cirkon iz klasera...

I painted my nails with Art de Lautrec #99, and then tried to pick one rhinestone from a wheel...

...ali nista se nije dogodilo. Jednostavno, nije htelo da radi. A onda mi je mama dala jedan savet, i upalilo je :). Trik je u sledecem : pre nego sto pokusate da uhvatite cirkon, protrljajte malo olovku kroz kosu (kako bi se naelektrisala), i uspecete. Ne morate ovo ponavljati pred svaki cirkon, dovoljno je na svakih 4-5.

...but nothing happened. I thought it doesn't work. And then my mum gave me an advice, and it work perfectly :). Point is : before you try to pick rhinestone, scrub pen a little bit with your hair (to make electricity), and it will work as a charm. You don't have to repeat that before every rhinestone, after every 4-5 of them is enough. 

Pomocu olovke, uspela sam da uhvatim svaki cirkon, i da ga stavim na mesto koje ja zelim. 

With this pen, I managed to catch every single rhinestone, and put it on a place that I want.

Po mom misljenju, ovakva olovka se mora imati. Pogotovu kada pogledate cenu koja je oko 180 dinara za dve olovke. A kada uracunate i 10% popust sa kodom KQL91, izadje oko 160 dinara. Jos jedan proizvod iz Born Pretty Store-a koji cu sa zadovoljstvom cesto koristiti :).

In my opinion, this pen is must have. Especially when you look at price which is 1.99$ for two pens. And when you calculate this 10% discount with coupon code KQL91, it's 1.79$. This is one of many products from Born Pretty Store that I will use often with pleasure :).

Winter Holiday Challenge : Santa and Elves

Tesko je raditi dva izazova u isto vreme, zbog poklapanja datuma, tako da sam ovog puta morala malo da poranim.
Ne mogu vam ni opisati koliko sam se zabavila crtajuci danas :). U Zimskom Bozicnom izazovu, tema je Deda Mraz i patuljci. Na internetu je toliko razlicitih slika patuljaka, da mi je bilo tesko da odaberem po uzoru na koje da crtam. Odlucila sam da uzmem od svakog patuljka po nesto, i napravim svoje :). Nalakirala sam Essence - Found My Love, na cetvrti nokat Art de Lautrec #421, igrala se malo sa akrilnim bojama i na kraju sve zacinila gliterima theBalm - Sugar Coat It. 

It's hard to do two challenges at the same time, because of the same dates, so I had to do this a little bit earlier.
I can't even describe you how much fun I had today while I was drawing :). In Winter Holiday Challenge, theme is Santa Claus and Elves. On internet there are so many pictures of different elves, so it was hard to choose those who I will draw. I decided to take something from each elf, and make my own elves :). I applied Essence - Found My Love, Art de Lautrec #421 on accent nail, played a little bit with acrylic paints and spiced it all with glitters theBalm - Sugar Coat It.

12 Days of Christmas: Ornaments

Jos Bozicnih ukrasa, ovog puta u "12 Dana Bozica" izazovu :). Nikada mi ih nece biti dosta :). Danas sam napravila malo drugacije nego juce. Ideja je bila da su nokti ustvari jelka, a na jelci je okaceno puno ukrasa. Pocela sam sa svetlo plavim lakom Ärt de Lautrec #421, napravila ukrase i grancice akrilnim bojama, a zatim sve to posula sljokicama theBalm - Sugar Coat it.

More Christmas ornaments, this time in "12 Days of Christmas Challenge".There will never be too many ornaments :). Today I made something different than yesterday. Idea was that nails should represent Christmas tree, and on tree there should be lots of ornaments. I started with light blue nail polish Art de Lautrec #421, I made ornaments and branches with acrylic paints, and then I topped everything with glitters theBalm - Sugar Coat it.

12 Days of Christmas : Gifts

Jos poklona :). Ovaj put kao deo "12 Dana Bozica" izazova. Moram priznati da sam stvarno ponosna na sebe, posto izgledaju toliko lepo i elegantno. Iako je ista tema kao i juce, htela sam da se opet malo razlikuje, i uspela sam da napravim nesto sto mi se zapravo svidja.

Zapocela sam sa (od leva ka desno) : theBalm - Red from Cover to Cover, Art de Lautrec #421, theBalm - Hella Yella i Catherina Arley #267. Zatim sa nacrtala masnice akrilnim bojama, i sve to prekrila predivnim sljokicama theBalm - Sugar Coat it.

More presents :). This time as a part of "12 Days of Christmas" challenge. I have to admit that I'm really proud on myself, because they look so beautiful and elegant. Although the theme is same as yesterday, I wanted to make something different, and managed to make something that I actually like.

I started with (from left to right) :  theBalm - Red from Cover to Cover, Art de Lautrec #421, theBalm - Hella Yella and Catherina Arley #267. Then I drew bows with acrylic paint, and covered all up with gorgeous glitter polish theBalm - Sugar Coat it.

Sta mislite o mojim pokloncicima? Jedva cekam da vidim sve te pokloncice koje su devojke crtale danas :).

Winter Holiday Challenge : Presents and Gift Wraps

U "Zimskom Bozicnom izazovu" danas kao temu imamo pokloncice. Ako mene pitate, pokloni su najlepsi kada su upakovani u sarenu kutiju sa ogromnom masnom. Zato su moji na noktima svi u kutijicama, sa masnama na vrhu. Naravno, poklona nikada dosta,zato sam i nacrtala 11 razlicitih :). Kao podlogu, koristila sam Art de Lautrec #421 a sve ostalo sam crtala akrilnim bojama. 

In "Winter Holiday Challenge  theme today are presents or gifts. If you ask me, presents are the best when they are wrapped in a colorful boxes with giant bows. That's why those on my nails are all in boxes and with bows on a top. Of course, there's never too much presents, so I drew 11 different ones :). As base color, I used Art de Lautrec #421 and I drew everything else with acrylic paints. 

Jedva cekam da vidim pokloncice koje su devojke koje ucestvuju sa mnom u ovom izazovu napravile :). A za drugi izazov, sutra je tema ista ova, tako da ocekujte jos pokloncica :).

I can't wait to see presents that girls who are doing this challenge with me made :). And for other challenge, tomorrow we have same theme, so expect more presents :).

12 Days of Christmas : How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Za danasnju temu u "12 Dana Bozica" izazovu sam bila totalno neinspirisana. "Praznicni film". Toliko ih je koje sam gledala, koji su mi se svideli, ali me ni jedan od njih nije inspirisao za neko crtanje po noktima. Kao rezervnu ideju, ostavila sam "Kako je Grinc ukrao Bozic". Na kraju, sinoc je bilo kasno za smisljanje nove ideje, tako da sam se odlucila za Grinca.Nije toliko strasan na noktima kao u crtanom filmu :). 

Koristila sam : theBalm - Coral Reef-ined, theBalm - Sky Blue Right Past You, Essence - Love of Pink, Art de Lautrec #461 i akrilne boje.

I was so uninspired about theme in "12 Days of Christmas" that is today. "Holiday Movie". There is so many movies that I watched, so many that I like, but none of them inspired me to do some nail art. As back-up idea, I kept "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". In the end, last night was late for thinking about new ideas, so I decided to go with Grinch. He's not that scary on nails like he's in cartoon :). 

I used :  theBalm - Coral Reef-ined, theBalm - Sky Blue Right Past You, Essence - Love of Pink, Art de Lautrec #461 and acrylic paints.
