By the Pool

Prva subota u julu i lepo vreme su mi bili odličan izgovor da dan provedem na bazenima. U tom duhu, napravila sam jedan pravi sunčani i vodeni manikir (koji ipak više odgovara moru nego bazenu, ali more će morati da sačeka još dve nedelje :) ). 

Koristila sam : Gabrini N12, Gabrini #379 i akrilne boje.

First Saturday in July and nice weather were great excuse for me to spend they by the pool. In that spirit, I made one truly sunny and watery manicure (which actually fits more to the sea than to the pool, but sea will have to wait for me two more weeks :) ).

I used : Gabrini N12, Gabrini #379 and acrylic paints.

Nail Mail and Haul in June

Obično ovakvu vrstu posta objavljujem prvog u mesecu, ali oprostićete mi što ovog puta kasnim par dana :). U junu, mogu da se pohvalim time da sam izdržala da ne kupim ni jedan lak za nokte. Čestitam sama sebi :D. Ipak, to ne znači da nema noviteta u mojoj kolekciji ovog meseca... Od tetke sam dobila ove divne lakove : Gabrini #379, Gabrini N12, Gabrini M110, Rapsodi #336, Rapsodi #304. 

I usually make a this type of post on the first day of a month, but I'm few days late this month :). In June, I have to tell you that I tried really hard and didn't buy any nail polish. Congratulations to myself :D. But, that doesn't mean that there are no new polishes in my stash... From my aunt I got these pretty polishes : Gabrini #379, Gabrini N12, Gabrini M110, Rapsodi #336, Rapsodi #304.

Prošlog meseca, učestvovala sam u još jednom grupnom tematskom menjanju lakova na facebook-u. Tema je bila leto, a Yarden iz Izraela mi je poslala punu kutiju simpatičnih stvarčica koje će mi dobro doći ovog leta :).

Last month, I joined one more group theme polish swap on Facebook. Theme was summer, and Yarden from Israel sent me box with all those cute things that I will definitely need this summer :).

Trebalo mi je vremena da sve otpakujem, ali sam se oduševljavala sa svakom sledećom stvari koju bi ugledala.

It took a while to unpack it all, but I loved every single item. 

Mnogo slatkiša. Skoro sve čokoladno. I razlog zašto sam se ugojila sigurno 3kg ove nedelje :).

Lots of candies. Almost everything with chocolate. And reason why I got 3kg this week :).

Nail Mail, Haul and Presents in December

Ovaj mesec, vise sam castila sebe sa novim lakovima, ali neki su stigli i postom, neke sam dobila na poklon. Ima ih poprilicno mnogo, tako da, pripremite se za spam slikama :).

This month, there were few hauls, some nail polishes were in nail mail, and some I got in presents. There are lot of them, so prepare yourself for picture spam :).

Obozavam kremice za ruke, pogotovo sa neobicnim mirisima, a ove dve kremice i turpiju sam dobila od deckove mame za Bozic :).

I love hand creams, especially those with a nice smell, and these two hand creams and nail file, I got from my boyfriends mother for Christmas :).

Takodje, od nje sam dobila i dva laka za nokte iz Oriflame-a  : Mint Pear i Ply Purple.

Also, I got from her two nail polishes : Oriflame - Mint Pear and Oriflame - Ply Purple.

Sparkly Red Flowers and One Failed Technique

Nesto sam bila zauzeta u zadnje vreme, te nisam obracala puno paznje na nove tehnike crtanja. Osim onih koje nisam u mogucnosti da uradim, ili onih koje mi nisu zanimljive, ostalo ih je sve par koje cu isprobati u narednih nedelju, dve dana. Danas sam smislila da probam tehniku vodenih boja, za koju mozete naci fantastican tutorijal na YouTube-u. Izgleda interesantno, ali samo na slici. 

Pokusala sam da uradim verziju sa raznim varijantama zelene : the Balm - Jade in the USA, Golden Rose Paris #86, Essence - Lime Up, Gabrini #373... i na kraju, izgledalo je toliko neuredno da nisam mogla ni da gledam u to. To je i razlog zasto nema slike. A onda sam smislila da bi mnogo cveca moglo ublaziti taj nered, uzela sam Catherine Arley #801 i Essence - Right, Girl i zapravo napravila nesto sto nije toliko lose.

I was kind of busy lately, so I didn't pay much attention to new drawing techniques. Except for those I'm not able to do, and those that are not interesting, there are just few of them left that I want to try out in the next week or two. Today I tried out water colour drawing. You can find great tutorial on YouTube. It does look interesting, but just on the picture.

I tried to make version with different green shades : the Balm - Jade in the USA, Golden Rose Paris #86, Essence - Lime Up, Gabrini #373...and in the end, it looked so messy that I couldn't even look at it. That's the reason why there is no picture of that. Then I thought that bunch of flowers could make that mess little bit better, so I took Catherine Arley #801 and Essence - Right, Girl, and actually made something that's not that bad.

Jeste probale ovu tehniku? Sta mislite o krajnjem rezultatu? Ako zelite, mogu napraviti jos jednu varijantu ove tehnike da vam pokazem :).

Last 10 days haul!

Ovo sve je kupljeno u zadnjih 10 dana, ustvari na zadnje dve srede. Sredom nemam toliko obaveza, te sam pocela da je “koristim” za shopping. Neko bi stvarno trebao da mi zabrani da izlazim iz kuce sredom :D. Neke od vas ovo nece smatrati puno lakova, ali za mene, previse je za ovako kratak vremenski period :). Necu vise da kukam, pare su potrosene, tako da mogu samo da se hvalim novim lakovima. Evo ih svi na gomili…

This is all bought in the last 10 days, actually on last two Wednesdays. On Wednesdays I don’t have really what to do, so I started “using” it to shopping. Someone should really forbid me to leave my house on Wednesdays :D. Some of you won’t consider this as big haul, but for me, it’s too much for such a short period :). I won’t regret anymore, money’s gone, so only thing I can do is to brag. Here are they all on one picture…

Are you kidding me?

Pa, trebala sam verovati u moju tehniku “3 puta meri, jednom seci”. Secate li se plavog Gabrinija kojim sam bila odusevljena? I onda sam ja taj dobar utisak nekako prenela na celokupan brend. Greska! Mozda ce se vama svideti, ali ja… 2 dana za redom da imam svetlucave nokte? Nema sanse, ne znam ni kako sam jedan dan izdrzala :D.
Uglavnom Gabrini – 378 (jos jedno kreativno ime), neka ljubicasta koja ne izgleda tako sjajno u bocici, ali na noktima… Posle jednog (pazljivo namazanog) sloja, dobila sam na noktima mrvicu ljubicaste podloge i sljokice. Mnogo sljokica. Sve ostalo kod ovog laka je ok, i susenje, i cetkica… Ali ne mogu preziveti toliko sljokica ove nedelje.

Well, I should have believe in my technique – in our country they say “measure 3 times, cut ones”, I don’t know how to translate truly meaning of expression but you know what I think. Do you remember that blue Gabrini that I loved? And than I somehow transferred that good expression on whole brand. Wrong! Maybe you’ll like this, but me… 2 days in the row with shiny nails? No way, I don’t know how I survived 1 day :D.
Anyway Gabrini 378 (another creative name), kind of purple color, that doesn’t look that shiny in the bottle, but in nails… After one (carefully applied) layer, on my nails I found little bit of purple base and glitter… Lots of glitter. Everything else with this polish is ok, drying, brush… But I just can’t survive that much glitter this week.

 
Prosto sam zelela da ubijem te sljokice i da mi ostane samo ljubicasta. Probala sam sa Matt top coat-om, ali bezuspesno. Kao da je uspeo da ubije 2 sljokice na povrsini od svih 5 noktiju.

I simply wanted to kill all those glitter, and to leave only purple. I tried this with Matt Top Coat, but no luck. It seems that he succeed to kill about 2 glitters on surface of all 5 nails…



Pretpostavljam da ce se polovini vas svideti… Jel tako? I bas me zanima, jel ima jos neka od vas koja ne voli sljokice na noktima ili sa sama?

I suppose that half of you will like it… Am I right? And I really want to know, is there anyone else from all of you girls who doesn’t like glitter on nails or am I only one?

Spring Nail Art

Pre par dana, naletela sam na neko nail art takmicenje na facebook-u,tema je bila uskrs/prolece, i vidim da se zavrsava taj dan. Naravno, nikad ne pogledam u koliko sati. I mislim se ja, imam vremena, uradicu nesto uvece, kad ono zavrsavalo se za 45 min. od tad. Tako da sam morala brzo da smislim ideju (sto mi je najteze) i da je ostvarim. Prvo, kao podloga – Gabrini, a zatim akrilnim bojama nesto sto je trebalo da predstavlja cvece u travi i leptire.
 
Few days ago, I run at some nail art competition on Facebook, and subject was Easter/Spring, and I saw it ends on that day. Of course, I never look at time when something ends. I thought, I have time, I will do something in the evening, but then I saw it ends in 45 minutes. So I had to find an idea (which was the hardest), and to fulfill it. First, Gabrini as base, and then with acryl paints something that should represent flowers in grass and butterflies.






Nisam nisla osvojila, ali sam se zabavila. Jel se vama svidja? :)

Gabrini 379 & Essence Glisten Up!

Prosli vikend sam bila do jednog velikog supermarketa da pokupujem nesto od hrane, i sa vrata sam zapazila promociju nekih parfema, a pored njih par lakova. Sva sreca pa je bilo samo 6-7 razlicitih boja, tako da moj novcanik nije pretrpeo jos jedan sok. Od tih 6-7 uzela sam 2. U pitanju je neka marka za koju nikad nisam cula, a ni videla – Gabrini. 

Last weekend I was in supermall, to buy some food, and while I was on the door I saw promotion of some parfumes, and next to them there was few polishes. Luckily, there was only 6-7 different colours, so my wallet didn’t had another shock. From that 6-7 I took 2 of them. It is the brand I never heard before, or see – Gabrini. 






Cena je mala, a kvalitetom sam prezadovoljna. Iako sam ocekivala da ce mu trebati 5-6 slojeva, uspela sam sa 2. Jako se lako nanosi, i brzo susi. Naravno, nije mogao ostati sam na noktima…

Price is low, and I’m very satisfied with a quality. I was expecting that it would need 4-5 layers, I got the true color with only 2. It’s easy to apply, and it dryes fast. Offcourse, he couldn’t stay alone on my nails…






Pre par postova sam vam se pozalila na ovaj Essence lak, zato sto mi je tad ispao zelen. Posto sam ga stavila na zutu podlogu, i logicno je. Preko plave podloge, prelep je.  I dalje ne mogu da prestanem gledam u sve te sljokice (iako nisam ljubitelj istih). Zabavno mi je kako se presijava na svetlosti od plave do zelene. Znam da se na slikama ne vidi dobro, ali nikako nisam uspela da uhvatim sunce napolju. Jos uvek pada kisa.

Few posts ago I told you about this Essence polish, I didn’t like it because it was greenly. It was because I put it over the yellow base – logicly. Over the blue base, it’s amazing. I still can’t stop watching in all those glitter (altought I don’t like them). It’s fun for me how they shine on the light from blue to green. I know that you can’t see good in the pictures, but I couldn’t catch a Sun. It’s still raining.






I za kraj, cisto da ucinim ovaj manikir zabavnijim, sa Golden Rose Nail Art-om  116 sam povukla par linija.
 
Iako na ovom Gabriniju 379 ne pise nista tipa “traje 7 dana”, verujem da je to tako. Imam ga na noktima vec 5 dana, bez Base i Top Coat-a, a i dalje je kao prvog dana. Mislim da jedva cekam da naletim u nekoj prodavnici na ove lakove. Odusevljena sam. Jeste li ih vi probali?

And for the end, I wanted to make this mani funnier, so I draw some lines with Golden Rose Nail Art 116.
 
Although on this Gabrini 379 it doesn’t write “7 days long”, I believe it does. I have it on my nails for 5 days, without Base or Top Coat, and it’s still like a first day. I think I can’t wait to bump on this polishes again. I’m very satisfied with them. Did you tried them?
