Matching Manicure–Butterflies

Današnja tema za Matching Manicures su leptiri. Već duže vreme imam u planu da pokušam da napravim manikir sa neonskim leptirima koji je robin mouses napravila u ovom tutorijalu, tako da je ovo bila savršena prilika. Prateći njen tutorijal, stvarno je bilo lako nacrtati ove leptire. Nisam mogla da odolim, tako da i moji leptirići svetle u mraku.

Koristila sam Miyo - Black, Ebalay #003, Ebalay #002, Ebalay #006, Ebalay #009, FlorMar N002, Catherine Arley #709, Primark Beauty - Neon Yellow, Primark Beauty - Neon Pink i Essence - Flowerfields.

Today theme for Matching Manicures is butterflies. For a while now I have in plans to try to make manicure with neon butterflies that Robin Mouses made in this tutorial, so this was a perfect opportunity. Following her steps, it was really easy to draw this. I couldn't resist, so my butterflies also glow in the dark.

I used Miyo - Black, Ebalay #003, Ebalay #002, Ebalay #006, Ebalay #009, FlorMar N002, Catherine Arley #709, Primark Beauty - Neon Yellow, Primark Beauty - Neon Pink and Essence - Flowerfields.

White Flowers on Holo Base

Kada sam rano jutros lakirala nokte, odlučila sam se za hologramski lak, Catherine Arley #806. A onda sam pogledala kroz prozor i učinilo mi se da ćemo imati još jedan sivi dan sa puno kiše. Shvatila sam da se holo lepota verovatno neće ni videti, pa sam ga premazala sa China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, mlečno belim lakom sa puno šarenih šljokica. Na sve to sam dodala nekoliko belih cvetića i crnih tačkica, i evo kako je ispalo...

When I painted my nails early in the morning, I decided to go with holographic nail polish, Catherine Arley #806. And then I looked through the window and it seemed to me like we will have another grey day with lot of rain. I realized that my holo nails won't show their true holoness, so I covered it with China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, milky white nail polish with lot of colorful glitter. And on top of everything, I added few white flowers and black dots, and here it is...

Kao što možete predpostaviti, dan je bio sunčan. Možda bi lepše sve ovo izgledalo da sam ostavila samo holo narandžastu podlogu. Šta vi mislite?

As you can imagine, it was a sunny day. Maybe it would look prettier if I left holo orange base. What do you think?

Sometimes, it happens...

Greška na noktima. Priznajem, prošlo je poprilično vremena od kada mi se to desilo :). Nekima od vas će se možda i svideti, ko zna. Uglavnom, ovo ispadne kada nemate konkretnu ideju nego samo lakirate nokte. Nalakirala sam moje sa holo crvenim lakom Catherine Arley #800, i ispečatirala ih sa crnim Miyo - Black i pločicom BM - 204. Sve bi se zaustavilo tu i možda bi mi se i dopalo da sam uspela da ispečatiram nokte ravno. Ali budući da su moji nokti malo zakrivljeni, ovo je bila nemoguća misija. Umesto da sve obrišem i krenem ispočetka sa nečim novim, napravila sam french manikir sa mat crnim lakom theBalm - I Take my Coffee Matte and Black koji je izgledao manje mat nego što je ovaj Miyo - Black (koji ni nije mat uopšte). I na kraju, crvene šljokice u providnoj bazi, Aura - Soul Shade. Ne znam šta mi je sve ovo trebalo :).

Nail fail. I admit, it has been I while since that happened :). Some of you may even like it, who knows. Anyway, this is what you get when you don't have any idea, when you just paint your nails. I painted mine with holo red nail polish Catherine Arley #800, and stamped them with black nail polish Miyo - Black and plate BM - 204. I would stopped it here and maybe I would like it if I could stamp my nails straight. But, since my nails are a little bit curved, that was mission impossible. And instead I removed all of it and start over with something new, I made a french mani with matte nail polish theBalm - I Take my Coffee Matte and Black that looks less matte than Miyo - Black is (this one isn't matte at all). And in the end, red glitter in a clear base, Aura - Soul Shade. I don't know why I needed that :).

Stamping and Dotting

Ponekad, kada nemate baš inspiracije, pečatiranje vaših noktiju je savršeno rešenje. Pomoću njega, čak možete napraviti i nešto potpuno neobično i za vas neočekivano. Moj dan danas, počeo je sa lakiranjem ovog koralnog laka theBalm - Coral Reef-ined. Nisam imala inspiraciju za nikakvo crtanje, a tek par sati kasnije, setila sam se mojih Bundle Monster pločica koje nisam koristila već neko vreme. Napokon, nakon milion puta promenjenog mišljenja, izabrala sam uzorak sa pločice BM - 209 i lak Miyo - Black. Prošlo je malo više od sat vremena, kada su mi se moji nokti učinili dosadnim, pa sam crne tačkice promenila u šarene. A evo i koje sam sve lakove upotrebila za to : Catrice - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, Catherine Arley #08, theBalm - Hella Yella, Essence - Date Me, Essence - Divalicious Red, theBalm - Lilac Any Sence i theBalm - Magenta Disposition. 

Sometimes, when you feel uninspired, stamping your nails is a perfect solution. With it, you can even make something completely oddly and for you unexpected. My day started with painting my nails with theBalm - Coral Reef-ined. I didn't have inspiration for drawing, and few hours later, I remembered my Bundle Monster plates that I haven't used for a while. Finally, after I changed my mind for about a million times, I chose pattern from plate BM - 209 and nail polish Miyo - Black. More than an hour later, I thought about how boring my nails are, so I changed black dots into rainbow dots. And here is the list of all polishes that I used for it : Catrice - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, Catherine Arley #08, theBalm - Hella Yella, Essence - Date Me, Essence - Divalicious Red, theBalm - Lilac Any Sence and theBalm - Magenta Disposition.

My Top 4!

Nadam se da ste spremne za večeras. Upravo počinje finalno veče Evrovizije. Sigurna sam da već pretpostavljate koliko sam veliki fan ovog muzičkog takmičenja. Ove godine, nažalost, nijedna od ex-YU zemlja se nije plasirala u finale, te očigledno neću imati za koga da glasam. Izbor pesama koje su prošle u finale mi se baš i ne dopada, i bilo je veoma teško naći favorite. Odlučila sam se mojih top 4 pesama...

Prvo, tu je Danska, zemlja koja će po procenama svih kladionica i odneti pobedu ove godine...

Zatim, pesma koja me je oduševila na prvo slušanje, pesma koju peva predstavnica Belorusije...

Onda, predstavnik Rumunije. Prvi put kada sam čula pesmu, pomislila sam "šta je do đavola ovo" a onda sam shvatila koliko je neobična ova pesma i njen pevač, svakako zaslužuju pobedu jer su drugačiji od ostalih...

I na kraju predstavnici Grčke. Grčki ritam mi se mnogo dopada i smatram da definitivno zaslužuju neku od visokih pozicija. 

I hope you are ready for tonight. It's starting : Finale Night of Eurovision 2013. I'm sure you already know how huge fan I am of this music competition. This year, unfortunately, neither one of the ex-Yugoslavian countries made it to the finals, so I won't vote. I actually don't really like songs that are in the finals, and it was very hard for me to choose favorites. My top 4 favorites are...

Denmark, country that will probably win this year, if you ask betting odds.

Then, song that I loved since I heard it for the first time, Belarus song....

Than, Romania. First time I heard this song, I was like "What the hell is this" and then I realized how great it is. It is different from others, and definitely deserves to win.

And in the end, Greece. I always loved Greek rhythm and they deserve to be in top 10.

Rainbow Fish Scales

Danas mi je stvarno trebalo nešto što će me razveseliti. Počelo je kao bojenje bez ikakvog reda i veze, i taman kad sam pomislila da bi mogla da skinem tu mrlju sa noktiju koju sam napravila najviše iz nervoze, shvatila sam da ustvari izgleda lepo. Dodala sam još malo boje, još po koju tačkicu i ustvari napravila manikir sa vodenim bojama. Ono malo što je falilo da sve izgleda savršeno je bilo pločica za pečatiranje BM - 203, i nastale su šarene riblje krljušti. Za ove neke male greškice koje možete videti, definitivno krivim top coat.

Today I really needed something that will cheer me up. It started like painting without any order and connection, and just when I thought that I could remove that mess off my nails that I made just because I was nervous, I realized that it looks nice. I added some more paint, and few more dots and actually made water color manicure. It needed something more for manicure to look perfect, I needed only stamping plate BM - 203, and that would be a story about how rainbow fish scales were made. For those little mistakes that you can see, I blame top coat.

Cinderella

Ako ste bile ovde negde tokom marta, sigurno ste pročitale da sam veoma zauzeta zbog jednog malog projekta. Projekat je bio velik, a u pitanju je takmičenje u crtanju na plastičnim tipsama u kutiji. Tema je bila Bajke Braće Grim, a ja sam se odlučila za moju omiljenu, Pepeljugu. Trebalo mi je mnogo vremena ali uspela sam da je nacrtam. Nekima se svidela, nekima ne, ali meni je bitno sa sam ja zadovoljna sobom. Ovaj post ću ostaviti lepim, tako da vam neću pričati ništa više o takmičenju (za priču o tome, svratite sutra). Takođe, moram priznati i da je bio izazov crtati na ovako velikim tipsama. Iako, ako se ja pitam, veća je umetnost znati nacrtati nešto na jednom kvadratnom centimetru nego na ovoliko velikom platnu. 

Posebno bi želela da se zahvalim sajtu Born Pretty Store jer bez njihovog sponzorisanog materijala ne bi uspela sve ovo da napravim tako kako jeste. 

Lista korišćenog materijala je predugačka, nikada ranije nisam upotrebila toliko različitih lakova (35!), ali ipak ću vam je napisati : 

If you were here in March, I'm sure you read that I was very busy with one little project. Project was huge, and it is contest for nail art on tips in box. Theme was Grimms' Fairy Tales and I chose my favorite, Cinderella. It took a lot of time and effort to draw it. Someone like it, someone dislike it, but most important thing for me is that I was satisfied with my work. I will leave this post nice so I won't tell you anything else about this contest (for story about it, come back tomorrow). Also, I have to admit that it was a challenge to draw on such a huge tips. Although, if you ask me, I think that it is harder and challenging to draw on a small nail than on such a huge canvas.

Neon Butterflies

Danas sam se vratila u dobro raspolozenje, u boje, u sunce, u proleće. Pored cveća koje nam stiže u proleće, tu su uvek u šareni leptirići. Obožavala sam da ih jurim kada sam bila mala :). Ipak, sad kako sam starija, više volim one leptiriće u stomaku :). Ovo je bila i dobra prilika da isprobam set neonskih lakova koje sam kupila u Primark prodavnici u Beču.

Today I got back into a good mood, into colors, into Sun, into Spring. Besides flowers that we see on Spring, there are always a lot of colorful butterflies. I loved to chase them when I was kid :). Although, since I'm older, I now prefer those butterflies in stomach :). This was also a good opportunity to try out set of neon nail polishes that I bought in Primark store in Vienna.

Red Dotticure

Kiša i sneg u sred marta... To definitivno nisam očekivala. Sneg još i mogu da podnesem nekako, ali kišu mrzim. Zbog nje nemam volje ni za šta, i gubim inspiraciju. Jedino što je lepo raditi dok pada kiša je spavanje :). Moja neinspirisanost me je danas dovela do tackastog manikira. Ne secam se kada sam ga zadnji put radila. Imam jednu torbicu koja ima ovakav dezen, pa mogu da kažem da me je i ona inspirisala.

Rain and snow in the middle of March... I definitely didn't see that coming. I can handle snow somehow  but rain, I hate. Because of it I don't feel like doing anything, and I'm loosing inspiration. Only thing that is nice to do while it's raining is sleeping :). I was so without inspiration today that I did dotting mani. I can't remember when I did it last time. I also have a little bag with this design, so I can say that I was inspired by it.

Red, Pink and Orange Tulips

Verujem da je 8. mart koji je sada već iza nas, praznik za koji se proda najviše cveća. Skoro svaka ženska osoba koju sam srela taj dan je nosila cveće u rukama. Ja nisam ljubitelj cveća, preferiram čokoladu ali to me ne sprečava da crtam cveće na noktima :). Ovog puta, lale.

I believe that Women's Day which was few days ago is the day when flowers are most selling product. Almost every woman that I saw that day had a flower in her hand. I'm not a fan of flowers, I prefer chocolate but that doesn't stop me to draw flowers on nails :). This time, tulips.

Ne mogu da zamislim dan bez kafe. Turska, nes, espresso, ne biram. Sa dodacima kao sto su slag, cimet, cokolada, ni to ne biram. Obavezno jedna ujutro, obavezno jedna uvece, a tokom dana jos jedna do dve. Sta da radim, obozavam je. Posebno mi se u zadnje vreme svidjaju oni crtezi po peni kafe koji mogu biti veoma inspirativni. Pridruzite mi se u ispijanju soljice kafe. Mozete cak i da birate koju zelite.

I can't imagine a day without a coffee. Black, Nescafe, Espresso, I don't care. With extras like cream, cinnamon  chocolate, whatever. I must drink one cup in the morning, one in the evening and one or two during the day. What can I do, I love it. Lately, I especially like those drawings on coffee which can be really inspiring.
