Matching Manicure–Valentine’s Day

Već više od 10 dana sigurno znam da je tema današanjeg Matching Manicure-a Dan Zaljubljenih. I naravno, morala sam da čekam poslednji dan. Ne bi ni to bio problem, da nisam prespavala pola dana, a zatim morala na brzinu nešto da nacrtam dok je još uvek bilo dnevnog svetla napolju. Izbor je bio logičan i potpuno spontan. Naime, kroz celu osnovnu i srednju školu, nisam znala da nacrtam ništa. Apsultno ništa. Osim srca sa krilima. A njih, njih sam crtala gde god sam imala priliku. Ovo mi se ipak čine da su jedna od lošijih...

For more than 10 days I know that theme for Matching Manicure today is Valentine's Day. And of course, I had to wait the last day. That wouldn't be so big problem if I hadn't slept over half of the day, and then had to draw something really quickly while there were still some daylight outside. Choice was logical and completely spontaneous. Throw whole my middle and high school, I didn't know to draw. Absolutely nothing. Except hearts with the wings. And them, I drew wherever I had a chance. This one seems to me one of the bad ones...

Ne zaboravite da pogledate šta su devojke danas nacrtale :). Dobila sam stvarno dosta inspiracije, a budući da do Dana Zaljubljenih ima još 6 dana, nije kasno da i vi i ja iskoristimo tu inspiraciju.

Hearts in the Dark

Lakovi koji svetle u mraku se nešto što morate imate za vaš manikir za Noć Veštica. Mada ne samo tada, jer oni umeju da budu korisni i u svakodnevnim situacijama ( :D ko je razumeo, razumeo je; ko nije, razumeće). Moje druženje sa lakovima koji svetle u mraku je počelo prošle godine, a od tada se njihov broj u mojoj kolekciji konstantno povećava. Najnoviji od njih je BK #06 koji sam dobila od divne Xana za rođendan.

BK #06 je plavi jelly lak koji svetli zeleno u mraku, i mada na noktima izgleda kao da nije osušen (uvek tako izgleda), jeste. Lak je malo vodenaste formule, pa predlažem da ga lakirate preko belog laka za nokte. Ja sam ga lakirala bez podloge, i nanela sam 6 slojeva laka, a još uvek možete videti liniju nokta.

Glow in the dark nail polishes are something that you must have for your Halloween manicure. Although, not just then, because they can be useful in some everyday activities ( :D who understood, understood; who didn’t, you will). I first tried glow in the dark nail polishes last year, and since then, their number in my stash is constantly growing. Newest is BK #06 which I got from lovely Xana for my birthday.

BK #06 is a blue jelly nail polish that glows green in the dark, and although it looks on nails like it’s not dried (it always looks like that), it is. Formula is kind of watery, so I suggest applying it over white base. I painted it without any base, and applied 6 coats of polish, but you can still see visible nail line. 

Da učinim ovo malo interesantnijim, nacrtala sam nekoliko srca belom akrilnom bojom. Ono što me je iznenadilo je sledeće : na svetlu, ovaj lak je plave boje a srca su bela; na prigušenom svetlu, lak svetli u mraku i zelene je boje, dok su srca šarena (pretpostavljam da je u pitanju neko prelivanje svetlosti preko bele boje, ali mi i dalje nije potpuno jasno); dok je u mraku onako kako sam i planirala da bude, lak svetli zeleno, a srca su crna.

To make this a little bit more interesting, I drew some hearts with white acrylic paints. And this is what surprised me : on light, this polish is blue, and hearts are white; on low light, polish glows green but hearts are rainbow colored (I suppose there is something about refexion of light over white color, but I still don’t really understand that); while in the dark is like I planned it to be, polish glows green and hearts are black.

Chunky Holo Bluebell and Random Hearts

Danas ću vam pokazati još dva nova proizvoda koja su mi stigla ove nedelje. Prvi je lak za nokte, Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Bluebell.Ovaj lak mi je već duže vreme bio na listi želja, i jedna divna osoba je odlučila da mi ispuni tu želju (više o tome krajem meseca kada budem pisala o novitetima). Chunky Holo Bluebell sam nalakirala pre theBalm - Nothing Rhymes with Purple, i mnogo mi se svidja kako izgleda. Jedina stvar koja me malo muči kod njega je miris koji je nešto jači nego obično kod lakova. 

Today I'm going to show you two more products that came this week. First one is nail polish, Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Bluebell. This nail polish was on my wishlist for a while, and one very nice person decided to fulfill me that wish (more about that on the last day of the month). I layered Chunky Holo Bluebell over theBalm - Nothing Rhymes with Purple, and I really like how it looks. Only thing I don't like about it smell which is stronger than usual. 

Poželela sam da ukrasim još malo ovaj lak, dodajući mu srcaste dekoracija za nokte koji su stigli sa sajta kkcenterhk.com. Za nekih 450 dinara dobijete 50 srca koja možete da zalepite na nokte. Moram reći da su mi se ova srca stvarno svidela dok su još uvek bila upakovana u kesicu. Njihova boja je prelepa.

Ipak, nakon što sam ih stavila na nokte, shvatila sam da mi ne odgovaraju. Imam pomalo zaobljene nokte (mislim da većina ljudi ima takve) a ova srca su ravna, što im onemogućava da se zalepe za nokat svojom punom površinom. Baš zbog toga, otpali su posle prvog pranja ruku.

I wanted to decorate this nail polish by adding heart nail studs that came to me from kkcenterhk.com. For $5.00 you get 50 hearts that you can stick on your nails. I have to say that I really liked these hearts while they were still packed. Their color is gorgeous. 

But, after I putted them on my nails, I realized that they don't work. I have a little bit rounded nails (I believe most people has them too) and these hearts are flat, and it's impossible for them to stick to my nails. Because of that, they fell of after I washed my hands.

Naravno, ostatak srca neću baciti. Smatram da bi odlično izgledali na mobilnom telefonu :).

Znam da je ovaj dan bio juce, ali danas cu vas ovom Kupidonovom strelom samo bocnuti i podsetiti da se nail art takmicenje na temu "Rodjendan"/"Dan Zaljubljenih" zavrsava za devet dana. Meet Me and my Valentine

Stvarno se trudim da odvojim privatan zivot od internet zivota, ali ponekada je to tesko. Pogotovo kada u jednom momentu, dobijem fenomenalnu ideju za nail art koja je direktno vezana za moj privatan zivot. Ali, ponekada treba prekrsiti i sopstvena pravila :). 

Upoznajte mene i mog decka :). Zajedno smo vec 8 godina, jos od osnovne skole, i nasa ljubav je svakim danom sve veca. On podrzava ovu moju opsesiju lakovima za nokte (sve ce vam biti jasno kada cujete da je bas on bio taj koji je rekao da uzmem celu Hologlam kolekciju :) ), i to mi mnogo znaci. I da, bio je odusevljen ovim nail artom :).

I really try to separate my personal life from my cyber life, but sometimes that's hard. Especially when in one moment, I get an awesome idea for nail art that is directly connected with my personal life. But, sometimes you need to break your own rules :). 

Meet me and my boyfriend :). We are together for almost 8 years, since elementary school, and our love is getting bigger every day. He supports my nail polish obsession (you will be sure in that when I tell you that he was the one who told me to buy whole Hologlam collection :) ), and that means a lot for me. And yes, he loved this nail art :).

Speaking about hearts...

Nastavljam danas u zaljubljenom raspolozenju uz jos srca :). Inace retko crtam srca na noktima, a ovaj Dan Zaljubljenih koji je sve blizi, mi je prava prilika za to. Danas, srca u crveno-beloj kombinaciji. Ne dopada mi se toliko koliko mi se dopalo dok sam smisljala ideju, ali moze da prodje. 

Koristila sam Essence - Red-y to go i akrilne boje.

I'm continuing today with a love mood and more hearts :). I rarely draw hearts on nails, but this Valentine's Day which is soon, is a perfect opportunity for that  Today, hearts in red-white combination. I don't really like it as much as I liked it while it was in my head, but it's pretty enough.

I used Essence - Red-y to go and acrylic paints.

Heart Shaped Balloons

Ovih dana, sve mi je srcasto :). Obozavam kada sam zaljubljena, a upravo tako se osecam u zadnje vreme. A morala sam i da uparim nokte sa silnim srcima kojih sada ima u svakoj prodavnici. Znate one helijumske balone u obliku srca? Oni su mi omiljeni :). A njima je i inspirisan moj nail art danas.

These days, everything is heart-y for me :). I love being in love, and that's how I feel lately. And I also had to match my nails with all those hearts that are now in every single store. You know those heart shaped helium balloons? They are my favorite :). And my nail art today is also inspired by them...

Half-holo hearts

Videla sam ovako nesto na nekom blogu, ali sada nikako ne mogu da nadjem. U pitanju su bila (mislim) plavo-crna holo srca i mnogo su mi se dopala. Ja sam uradila polu-holo srca, u ljubicasto-plavoj kombinaciji,   ali nisu ispala perfektno. Tome je doprinelo sto ceo dan nije bilo sunca, pa nisam uspela da uslikam onu holo polovinu srca :).

Koristila sam lakove : Catrice - Heavy Metallilac i China Glaze - DV8.

I saw something like this on one blog, but I can't find it now. It was (I think) blue-black holo hearts and I really liked it. I made half-holo hearts, in purple-blue combination, but it isn't perfect. Also, there were no Sun whole day, so I couldn't take picture that will show you holo part of the hearts :).

The New 31 Day Challenge - Recreate Someone Else's Mani

Dosao je i taj dan, poslednji dan izazova. Uzivala sam radeci ga, i stvarno ne mogu da docekam sledeci :). Danas sam rekreirala nail art koji je Mimi sa bloga Mimi Manicures uradila na temu "Cheer Yourself Up". U pitanju su slatka srca koja su i dobar izbor za vas manikir za Dan Zaljubljenih :).

Here comes that day, the last day of this challenge. I really enjoyed doing it, and I can't wait to do next one :). Today I recreated a nail art that Mimi from Mimi Manicures blog did on theme "Cheer Yourself Up". There are lots of cute hearts and this one can be a perfect choice for your Valentine's Day manicure :).

Valentine’s Day Nails : Glitter Holo Hearts

Danas je bio stvarno lud dan. Iako jos uvek nije Dan Zaljubljenih, vec mi je pomalo muka od njega. Uvek me uhvati ta frka kada pokusavam da smislim savrseni poklon. Ipak sam odlucila da je vise savrseno kad se nesto napravi, tako da cu sutra raditi na tome. A danasnji noktici, ostace i sutra. 

Pocela sam sa the Balm - A Case of the Blues, cini mi se jedinim lakom koji sam dobila a da izgleda tamno plavo. U stvari, boja je negde izmedju plave i ljubicaste, i samim tim bilo ga je jako tesko uslikati. Dobra strana, trebao je samo jedan sloj da se dobije ovo savrsenstvo.

Today was a really crazy day. I know it's still not Valentine's Day, but I'm already kind a sick of it. I always have that panic when I try to think of perfect gift. Still, I decided that it's more perfect when it's something handmade, so I will work on that tomorrow. And today's nails will stay on me tomorrow too.

I started with the Balm - A Case of the Blues, for which I think it's only polish that I got that is dark blue. Actually, color is somewhere between blue and purple, and that means that it was really hard to take picture of it. My camera just hate purple. Good side, it took only one coat to get this perfection.

A onda sam se igrala, potpuno bez plana, i zavrsila sa Essence - Hello Holo u srcima :).

And then I played, completely without a plan, and finished it with Essence - Hello Holo in hearts :).

Valentine’s Day Nails : Dogs and Bears

U zadnje vreme, cesto gledam slike zivotinjica, i crtane filmove pred spavanje. Znam, kao malo dete sam. Moji danasnji nokti na temu Dana Zaljubljenih, su u vezi ljubavi ali i zivotinjica. Odlucila sam se za kuce i mede. 

Kao baznu boju, izabrala sam da prodam jos jedan u nizu the Balm - Mellow Yellow. Kome je od vas odmah pao na pamet skoro istovetan Essence - Yellow Fellow? Uradicu jednom i poredjenje ova dva, ali cini mi se da su indenticni. Pa i po kvalitetu. Iste probleme imala sam sa oba ova laka, tesko mazanje, vidi se svaki potez cetkice i trebalo je 4 sloja... 

Lately, I often look pictures of little animals, and watch cartoon movies before bed. I know, I'm like a little child. My todays nails inspired by Valentine's Day are related to love, but little animals too. I decided to go with puppies and bears.

As base color, I chose another the Balm - Mellow Yellow. Who of you just thought on almost the same Essence - Yellow Fellow? I will do comparison of this two, but I think they are identical. They certainly have same quality. I had same problems with both of this polishes, hard to apply, you can see every move of a brush, and it took 4 coats to be opaque...

Opet su tu i mali natpisi u srcima : Love, Sweet, Kiss i Hug. Sta mislite o mojim zivotinjicama?

Again, there are small words in hearts : Love, Sweet, Kiss and Hug. What do you think about my little animals?
