Colorful Glitter - She #135

Katarinna sa bloga Katarina's day (ako niste do sada posetili njen blog, obavezno to uradite, ima prelepe nokte, a takodje pravi i odlicne korisne DIY projekte) me zamolila da uradim swatch S-he #135 koji sam kupila prosle nedelje tako da je to danasnja tema. Zelela sam da vidim da li se on moze nositi sam, ili sluzi samo za layerovanje. Tako da sam ga isprobala preko Essence - Must Have i Essence - Found My Love. Jedan taman, i jedan svetao lak. I evo sta sam otkrila. Ovaj lak mozete nositi samog, ali meni se to ne svidja. Sljokice su vidljive svakako, samo je pitanje koliko cete ih vidite. Naravno, najbolje se vide na tamnoj podlozi. 

Katarinna from Katarina's Day blog (if you haven't seen it, do it, she has beautiful nails and also does great useful DIY projects) asked me to swatch S-he #135 that I bought last week so that's today's post about. I wanted to see is it possible to wear this polish alone, or is it for layering only. So I tried it over Essence - Must Have and Essence - Found My Love. One dark, and one bright nail polish. And here's what I discovered. You can wear this polish alone, but I don't like it. Glitters are visible any how, but only question how much of them you can see over different base colors. Of course, they are best visible over dark base.

Haul in last 10 days

Zadnjih 10ak dana pokupovala sam mnogo toga. Ali tesim sebe da i nije tako mnogo posto nije sve za mene :D. Pripremite se na spam slikama.

S-he 339

Videvsi na nekim blogovima, kako se pominju S-he lakovi, setila sam se da imam jos jedan koji nikad nisam probala. Iako onim prvim, ljubicastim 464 nisam bila ni malo zadovoljna, nekako sam se nadala da ce ovaj plavi 399 biti barem za nijansu bolji. Nisam bila te srece. Cini mi se kao da je napravljen od vode u koju je ubacena minijaturna kapljica boje. Dok se susio, bukvalno se slivao sa noktiju. I evo sta sam dobila nakon 6 (da, SEST) slojeva.

I saw some blogs mentioning S-he polishes, and that reminded me that I still have one more that I’ve never tried out. Previous was purple 464, and I wasn’t satisfied with it, somehow I hoped that this blue one 399 will be little better. I didn’t had luck. It seems like it is made out of water in which they put one tiny tiny drop of color. While he was drying, he was literally falling out of nails. And this is what I got after 6 (yes, SIX) layers.



Jos uvek se moze videti manjak boje na vrhovima noktiju. Kako bih uspela prekriti taj nedostatak, napravila sam french sa predivnim lakicem iz Essence kolekcije Secrets of the Past – Meet me in Budapest. Ima boju izmedju plave i zelene, i ono sto mu je najveci plus je to sto potpuno prekriva u samo jednom sloju.

You can still see lack of color on the tips. I wanted to cover that, so I made french with beautiful polish from Essence collection Secrets of the Past – Meet me in Budapest. His color is somewhere between blue and green, and his biggest plus is that he full covers in only one layer.

Pa, bar sam donela jednu odluku. Nikada vise S-he. Znam da su mnoge od vas imale dobre utiske u vezi njihovih lakova, ali ocigledno meni to ne ide od ruke.

Well, at least I brought one decision. Never again S-he. I know lot of you had good experience with their polishes, but obviously they are not made for my nails.

Butterflies on S-he

Danas sam zelela da mi nokti budu jednobojni, manje-vise obicni. Naravno, to je morala da bude neka jarka boja. Tako je na mojim noktima zavrsio S-he 464 kog sam dobila jos na Dan Zaljubljenih. Iskreno receno, ne svidja mi se. Trebalo mi je 3 sloja da bi dobila nijansu koja mi se svidela. Nanosenje takodje nije lako, i uvek mi negde ispadne neravnomerno. Evo slike sa 2 sloja :

Today I wanted my nails to be one-colored, more-less ordinary. Of course, that had to be some dark color. That is how the S-he 464 found itself on my nails. I got it for Valentine Day. To be honest, I don’t like it. It took me 3 coats to get a color that I like. Also, it’s not easy to apply, and it’s always somewhere unevenly. Here’s the picture with 2 coats : 
 


Naravno, nije mi se svidelo. Zato sam nanela jos jedan sloj, a zatim se opet igrala sa akrilnim bojama i cetkicom. Sta cu, nije im sudjeno da budu jednobojni.

Of course, I didn’t like it. That’s why I added one more coat, and then played again with acryl paint and brush. What can I do, they are not meant to be one-color.
