Valentine’s Day Nails : Glitter Holo Hearts

Danas je bio stvarno lud dan. Iako jos uvek nije Dan Zaljubljenih, vec mi je pomalo muka od njega. Uvek me uhvati ta frka kada pokusavam da smislim savrseni poklon. Ipak sam odlucila da je vise savrseno kad se nesto napravi, tako da cu sutra raditi na tome. A danasnji noktici, ostace i sutra. 

Pocela sam sa the Balm - A Case of the Blues, cini mi se jedinim lakom koji sam dobila a da izgleda tamno plavo. U stvari, boja je negde izmedju plave i ljubicaste, i samim tim bilo ga je jako tesko uslikati. Dobra strana, trebao je samo jedan sloj da se dobije ovo savrsenstvo.

Today was a really crazy day. I know it's still not Valentine's Day, but I'm already kind a sick of it. I always have that panic when I try to think of perfect gift. Still, I decided that it's more perfect when it's something handmade, so I will work on that tomorrow. And today's nails will stay on me tomorrow too.

I started with the Balm - A Case of the Blues, for which I think it's only polish that I got that is dark blue. Actually, color is somewhere between blue and purple, and that means that it was really hard to take picture of it. My camera just hate purple. Good side, it took only one coat to get this perfection.

A onda sam se igrala, potpuno bez plana, i zavrsila sa Essence - Hello Holo u srcima :).

And then I played, completely without a plan, and finished it with Essence - Hello Holo in hearts :).

Kako ste vi isplanirale sutrasnji dan? Ako imate kome da poklonite, za koji poklon ste se odlucile? Pokazacu vam moj prekosutra, posto ne zelim da upropastim iznenadjenje :).

Posto sutra necu lakirati nokte opet, one koje me prate na Facebook-u, vec sigurno znaju sta cu vam pokazati :). Tutorijal stavljam na upload tokom noci :).

What did you planned for tomorrow? If you have to whom to give it, for did you bought as present? I will show you mine day after tomorrow, just because I don't want to ruin an surprise :).

Valentine’s Day Nails : Dogs and Bears

U zadnje vreme, cesto gledam slike zivotinjica, i crtane filmove pred spavanje. Znam, kao malo dete sam. Moji danasnji nokti na temu Dana Zaljubljenih, su u vezi ljubavi ali i zivotinjica. Odlucila sam se za kuce i mede. 

Kao baznu boju, izabrala sam da prodam jos jedan u nizu the Balm - Mellow Yellow. Kome je od vas odmah pao na pamet skoro istovetan Essence - Yellow Fellow? Uradicu jednom i poredjenje ova dva, ali cini mi se da su indenticni. Pa i po kvalitetu. Iste probleme imala sam sa oba ova laka, tesko mazanje, vidi se svaki potez cetkice i trebalo je 4 sloja... 

Lately, I often look pictures of little animals, and watch cartoon movies before bed. I know, I'm like a little child. My todays nails inspired by Valentine's Day are related to love, but little animals too. I decided to go with puppies and bears.

As base color, I chose another the Balm - Mellow Yellow. Who of you just thought on almost the same Essence - Yellow Fellow? I will do comparison of this two, but I think they are identical. They certainly have same quality. I had same problems with both of this polishes, hard to apply, you can see every move of a brush, and it took 4 coats to be opaque...

Opet su tu i mali natpisi u srcima : Love, Sweet, Kiss i Hug. Sta mislite o mojim zivotinjicama?

Again, there are small words in hearts : Love, Sweet, Kiss and Hug. What do you think about my little animals?

Valentine’s Day Nails : LOVE Hearts

Gde god pogledam, vidim da nokte na temu Dana Zaljubljenih. Tako da odlucila da dam svoj doprinos i pokazem vam moje. Nadam se da cu stici da uradim jos neke do 14. Februara. Za danasnje nokte, inspirisao me je jedan rucno napravljen kolacic ciju sam sliku nasla pre nekog vremena na Googlu. Nazalost, nisam uspela opet da pronadjem tu sliku, ali sam je srecom skicirala u moju svescicu :). Kao baznu boju, izabrala sam crveni Essence - Red-y to go. 

Whenever I look, I see Valentine's Day inspired nails. So I decided to show you mine today. I hope that I will have time to do more until February 14th. For today, I was inspired by a home-made cake picture that I found  a while ago on Google. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that picture again, but luckily I sketch it in my little notebook :). As base color, I chose red Essence - Red-y to Go.

Ako pogledate pazljivo, u malim srcima koji su u sredini srca, nalaze se slova L O V E. Probala sam da ih jos vise zumiram, ali bilo je previse mutno. Nadam se da vam se svidja :). 

If you look carefully, in the little hearts that are in the middle of hearts, there are letters L O V E. I tried to zoom them more, but it was too blurry. I hope you like them :)

Two different kinds of Essence - It's Purplicious!

Danas su mi opet stigle stvarcice za nokte u posti. Stvarno bih mogla da se naviknem na to :). Ovog puta, u pitanju je paketic iz Holandije, koji sam osvojila na takmicenju za Bozicne nokte na blogu nails 4 fun . A evo sta je sve bilo u paketicu (zaboravila sam da uslikam tackala posebno)...

Today I got nail mail again. I could really get used to it :). This time, it's a package from Nederland that I won on a Christmas nail art contest on nails 4 fun blog. And here it is what was in a package (I forgot to take close up picture of dotters)...

Nisam znala sam da cu dobiti Essence - It's Purplicious, pa sam ga kupila pre par nedelja. Ali danas kada sam ga pogledala, nisam mogla da verujem. U pitanju je isti Essence, isti Special Effect Topper, isti naziv, ali drugaciji lak. Mozda neke od vas ovo znaju, ali ja nisam znala. Ocigledno, ovaj sa desne strane je "novi", a sa leve strane "stari" (pretpostavljam, posto je na Essence sajtu ovaj desni).

I didn't knew that I will get Essence - It's Purplicious, so I bought it few weeks ago. But today when I saw it, I couldn't believe. It's the same Essence, same Special Effect Topper, same name, but different nail polish. Maybe some of you knew this, but I didn't. Obviously, on the right side is "new one", and on the left is "old one" (I suppose, because on Essence site, there is only the right one).

Tako da sam odlucila da ih isprobam oba danas. Smislila sam da bi bilo najlepse da ih isprobam preko neke ljubicaste, te sam odabrala the Balm - Lilac Any Sense. Velika stvar - ovaj lak se nanosi samo u jednom sloju. Zato je i bio savrsen za moje "isprobavanje".

So I decided to try them bought today. I wanted to try them out over some purple nail polish, so I chose the Balm - Lilac Any Sense. Big thing - this polish is opaque in only one coat. That's why it was perfect for my "try outs".

Koji od ova dva imate? Koji vam je lepsi? Meni se vise svidja ovaj stari ali jako sam srecna sto ih imam oba :).

Which one of those you have? Which one is prettier? I prefer old one, but I'm really happy to have them both :).

The Balm Swatches Part I

Ziva sam, ne brinite :). Zadnja tri dana, napadalo je mnooogo snega kod mene, i bilo mi je nekako prehladno da mazem noktice. A i ne zelim da vas laze, bila sam zauzeta time izigravajuci malo dete i uzivanjem u zimskim igrama. Zato za danas imam swatcheve 6 the Balm laka, pa verujem da ce svaka od vas naci svoj omiljeni. 

Uopsteno, veoma sam zadovoljna njihovom aplikacijom i vremenom susenja. Jedino sto mi se ne svidja je oblik bocice, suvise je tesko uslikati nokte sa njom :).

I'm alive, don't worry :). In the last three days, a loooot of snow has fallen, and I was kind a too cold to polish my nails. And I don't want to lie to you, but I was too busy acting like a child, and enjoying winter games. That's why I have swatches of 6 the Balm nail polishes, so I believe that every one of you will find their favourite. 

Basically, I was very satisfied with their application and time of drying. Only thing that I didn't like was shape of a bottle, it was too hard to take pictures with it :)

Kako vam se svidjaju ovi crvenkasti? Mislim da ce sledeceg puta biti plavkasti i ne mogu da ih docekam :). 

Takodje, u subotu mi je bio rodjendan bloga, i ne mogu da verujem da sam zaboravila na to. Nekako nisam ni primetila da je vec toliko proslo. Buduci da zbog snega ne mogu izaci iz grada, sto znaci da ne mogu doci do Essence-a, zanima me vase misljenje. Da li da sacekam jos malo pa da kasnije napravim giveaway, ili bi mozda volele da imate sansu da osvojite neke domace lakove?

How do you like those red ones? I think next time, I'll swatch all blue ones and I can't wait :).

Also, my first blog birthday was on Saturday, and I can't believe that I totally forgot about that. Somehow I didn't noticed that I was blogging for that long. And because of the snow, I can't leave my town to buy some Essence nail polishes, and I need your opinion. Should I wait for a while and make giveaway later, or maybe you would like to have a chance to win some domestic (Serbia) nail polishes?
