Blue Water-Color Marble

Mislila sam da je ova tehnika ispala kao totalni promasaj, pa sam je prekrila cvecem, ali iz komentara vidim da se vama svidja. Tako da, na zahtev Any Rainbow (posetite njen blog, ako jos niste, devojka odlicno crta po noktima), evo je opet, ali u plavoj boji. 

Koristila sam sest nijansi plave : Essence - Fall For Me, Essence - Gleam in Blue, Essence - Let's Get Lost, Don Juan #103, the Balm - A Case of the Blues, i the Balm - Sky Blue Right Past You. 

Nisam sigurna zbog cega, ali aceton je poceo da pravi mehurice kako se lak susio. To mi se prvi put nije desilo, tako da je moguce da je zbog nekog od laka. 

I thought that this technique was fail, so I covered it with flowers, but from your comments I saw you like it. So, by request of Any Rainbow (visit her blog if you didn't already, girl does amazing nail art), here it is again, this time in blue.

I used six shades of blue : Essence - Fall For Me, Essence - Gleam in Blue, Essence - Let's Get Lost, Don Juan #103, the Balm - A Case of the Blues,and the Balm - Sky Blue Right Past You.

I'm not sure why, but acetone made little bubbles why polish was drying. That didn't happened to me first time, so it's possible that it's because of some of these polishes.

Glitter Bomb!

Danas sam napravila jednu pravu glitter bombu. Svidja mi se, bas zato sto je dosla spontano i neplanirano.

Prvo sam zapocela sa dva sloja the Balm - Nothing Rhymes With Purple... 

Today I made one truly glitter bomb. I like it, just because it came on spontanious and unplanned. 

First I started with two coats of the Balm - Nothing Rhymes With Purple...

Onda sam ga prelakirala sa jednim slojem the Balm - Sugar Coat it... (boja nije dovoljno sjajna na ovoj slici zato sto je slikano u lightbox-u, ali ako sidjete jos malo nize, videcete pravu lepotu ovog laka).

Then I layered it with one coat of the Balm - Sugar Coat it... (color isn't shining enough on this picture because it's been taken in lightbox, but if you continue reading, you will see true beauty of this nail polish).

A onda je dosao trenutak kada sam odlucila da ce ovo biti glitter bomba. Nastavila sam, lakirajuci 1/3 nokta sa Don Juan #167...

And then came the moment when I decided that this will be glitter bomb. I continued, applying Don Juan #167 in 1/3 of the nail...

I konacno, dodala malo Essence (Twins) - Louise na vrhove noktiju. Ovo su slike uslikane na dnevnom svetlu. Nazalost sunca nije bilo.

And finally, I added some Essence (Twins) - Louise on top of my tips. These are the pictures taken on daylight. Unfortunately, there was no sun.

Moj konacan utisak je da moram sto pre da lakiram ovaj Don Juan sam. Cinilo mi se kao da je veoma providan u bocici, ali vec mi je dokazao da nisam bila u pravu.

Kako vam se svidja moja glitter bomba?

My final conclusion is that I have to apply this Don Juan alone very soon. It seems to me in the bottle that it's very sheer, but he proved that I'm wrong.

First Don Juan

Postoje dva razloga zasto nikad nisam kupila Don Juan lakove. Prvi je sto sam uvek pronalazila u prodavnici samo crvene, ruzicaste, ili crveno-ruzicaste boje i nisu mi se svidele. A drugi... Pretpostavljam da svi znate ko je Don Juan i sta on predstavlja. U Srbiji, on takodje predstavlja i marku kondoma, tako da mi se uvek cinilo nekako cudno da ih kupim. Do pre nekoliko nedelja... I naravno, zaboravila sam njih, i pronasla ih sinoc. Prvi i jedini plavi koji sam nasla, Don Juan #103.

Nakon prvog sloja, bila sam razocarana. Bio je veoma providan i mislila sam da mu ni 6 slojeva nece biti dovoljno. Srecom, stala sam posle treceg. Ucinilo mi se da je dovoljno, ali tek sad na slikama vidim da sam slobodno mogla jos jedan sloj da nalakiram. Cetkica je odlicna, i stvarno se lako maze.

Mislim da cu im i u buducnosti dati sansu, posto imaju stvarno prelepe boje.

There are two reasons why I never bought Don Juan nail polishes. First one is that I always used to find red ones/ pink ones / red-pink ones in stores. And second one... I guess you already know who Don Juan was and what he represent. In Serbia, it's also a brand of condoms, so it was always kind of weird to buy them. Until few weeks ago...  And of course, I totally forgot about them, and found them last night. First and blue that I found, Don Juan #103.

After the first coat, I was disappointed. It was very sheer and I thought it even 6 coats won't be enough for it. Luckily, I stopper after third one. It seemed to me that's enough but know, on the pictures, I see that another coat wouldn't hurt. Brush is really great, and it's easy to apply it.

I think I will give them chance again in future, just because they have really nice colors.

Stvarno sam zelela da crtam nesto, ali nisam bila bas raspolozena. Zato sam uzela the Balm - You're so Hot and Gold, predivan lak prepun holo glittera. Na slikama se nikako ne vidi holo efekat, tako da cu ponoviti swatch cim bude sunca (vidim samo maglu ovih dana). U sustini, veoma je slican Essence - Hello Holo, razlika je samo sto kod Essence-a ima vise srebrnih glittera, a kod the Balm-a zlatnih. 

I really wanted to draw something, but I wasn't really in the mood. That's why I took the Balm - You're so Hot and Gold, gorgeous nail polish full of holo glitters. Holo effect isn't really visible on pictures, so I'll repeat this swatch as soon as I see some Sun (there is only fog these days). Basically, it's very similar to Essence - Hello Holo, difference is that Essence has more silver glitters, and the Balm has more gold ones.
