Neon Lines

Zamislite situaciju kada neko ko je navikao svaki dan da lakira nokte, ima iskrzani lak na noktima skoro dve nedelje. Ne znam za vas, ali meni je strašno. Polako se navikavam na posao i mislim da sam uspela nekako da organizujem svoje vreme, pa sam postavila za početak sebi cilj : minimum 3 posta nedeljno. Nadam se da ću uspeti u tome, a i da ćete vi biti tu da me podržite :). 

Mislila sam da je crtanje nešto kao vožnja bicikla, kada jednom znaš to da uradiš, znaćeš uvek. Ali očigledno sam se previše opustila pa čak iako sam odlučila da prekinem sa nelakiranjem noktiju uz linijice koje su lagane za crtanje, nije mi bilo lako. Koristila sam theBalm - Pink or Swim kao podlogu, a Flormar N002, Flormar N014 i Rapsodi 194 za linijice. 

Imagine the situation when someone who is used to polish nails every day, have chipped nail polish on nails that is almost two weeks old. I don't know about you, but for me that is scary. I'm finally getting used to work, and I think I succeed in organizing my time, so I set a goal : minimum 3 posts per week. I hope I will manage to do that, and that you will be here to support me :). 

I thought that drawing is something like riding a bike, when you learn to do it once, you will know it forever. But obviously I was too relaxed and although I decided to stop with not polishing my nails with lines that are easy to draw, it wasn't easy. I used theBalm - Pink or Swim as base color, and Flormar N002, Flormar N014 and Rapsodi 194 for lines. 

Da li vam se dopada? U planu mi je prvo bilo da ovo bude neki Aztec manikir, ali sam morala da se zaustavim ovde :). 

Do you like it? First plan was to make something like Aztec manicure, but I had to stop here :).

Narrow it Down

Ovakav i slične manikire sam sigurna da ste videle milion puta do sada. Ali jednostavno sam morala da ga napravim jer su mi se ova dva laka činila potpuno kompatibilna. Lakirala sam jedan, pa drugi, pa opet prvi, pa drugi i svaki put malo sužavala površinu nokta. Čini mi se da bi možda bilo lakše da sam ručno nacrtala linije, ali ovako je definitivno bilo izazovnije. Koristila sam : Gade #461 i theBalm - Pink or Swim. 

I'm sure you have seen this and similar manicures a lot of times before. But I just had to do it because these two polishes seemed completely compatible. I painted my nails with first one, then with second one, and then first one again, and second and I kept narrowing down the area of the nails with every next coat. It seems to me that it would be easier for me to draw that lines with free hand, but this way it was more challenging. I used : Gade #461 and theBalm - Pink or Swim.

Inspired by Nina's nails

Pre skoro mesec dana, Nina sa bloga nina's nails je objavila njen manikir sa ovim nalepnicama za nokte. Prvo sam videla samo sliku na njenoj Facebook stranici, i moja prva reakcija je bila "Kako je ovo nacrtala"?  Onda sam posetila njen blog, i shvatila da su u pitanju nalepnice (više o tome, možete pročitati OVDE).

About a month ago, Nina from nina's nails blog published her manicure with this nail stickers. First I saw only a picture on her Facebook page, and first thing that I thought was "How did she draw this"? Then I visited her blog and realized that this cute art are stickers (for more about that, you can read HERE).

Kada sam joj rekla šta sam prvo pomislila, predložila mi je da rekreiram ovaj njen manikir ali sa ručnim crtanjem. Znate li šta je usledilo?

When I told her what I thought at first, she suggested me to recreate this manicure but to do it free handed. Do you know what I said?

U mojoj rekreaciji, linije su malo deblje, ali razumite da nisam štampač i da je ovo verovatno najtanje što sam mogla. Malkice sam izmenila i boje, čisto da vidim kako će to izgledati ako se doda malo više žuto-narandžastih nijansi. 

Koristila sam : Essence - Bad Girl. Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Essence - Do  A Floating Pirouette, Essence - Sundancer, Catrice - Jade is Not My Name, theBalm - A Case of the Blues, Essence - The One And Only, Essence - Bella i akrilne boje. 

In my recreation, lines were a little bit thicker, but you understand that I'm not a printer and this is probably the thinnest I could do. I also changed colors a little bit, just to see how it will look if you add more yellowish-orange shades. 

I used : Essence - Bad Girl. Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Essence - Do  A Floating Pirouette, Essence - Sundancer, Catrice - Jade is Not My Name, theBalm - A Case of the Blues, Essence - The One And Only, Essence - Bella and acrylic paints.

Dots&Stripes

Poslednjih dve nedelje prošle su kao jedan dan. Imala sam ispite, noći i dane sam provodila učeći, a u onim pauzama, igrajući se sa mojim novim krznenim bebicama-mačićima. Jedini manikir koji mi je stajao za to vreme na fotoaparatu je ovaj, sa linijama i šarama, a u međuvremenu, nokti su mi bili jednobojni. 

Za ovaj manikir, sećam se da sam koristila akrilne boje, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude? i gomilu lakova toplih boja. 

Last two weeks were like a day for me. I had my finals, I spent days and nights studying, and in breaks, I played with my new fur babies - kitties. Only mani that was on my memory card all this time was this, with lines and dots, and in the meantime, my nails were plain colored. 

For this mani, I remember that I used acrylic paints, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude? and bunch of warm colored nail polishes. 

Jedva čekam da pregledam vaše blogove i vidim šta sam propustila. 

Narednih dana očekujte jedan post o lakićima koji su stigli poštom, moj rođendanski poklon i iznenađenje koje sam imala, kao i swatch jednog laka koji sam dobila a napravljen je samo za mene.

Recipe for Amazing Nail Art

Šta ispadne kada pomešate sjajno i mat, onda dodate malo neonskih boja i na to dodate malo malo duohrom efekta? Verujte mi, ovaj recept je sjajan. Možda sam trebala dodati još neki hologramski detalj da sve to začinim još malo ali i ovako izgleda divno. 

Koristila sam : Essence - Romeo, Black acrylic paint, Ebalay A08, Flormar N002, Flormar N008, Flormar N014, Rapsodi #191 i Isabelle Dupont #282. 

What do you get when you mix shiny and matte, and then add a little bit of neon colors and on top of it you add some duochrome effect? Trust me, this recipe is grate. Maybe I could add some holographic details to spice it all a little bit more, but it definitely looks amazing this way.

Colorful Sunday

Danas sam zelela da se malo opustim, i napravim nesto jednostavnije. Pala mi je na pamet ideja da bi sarene kockice interesantno izgledale. Interesantne jesu, jednostavne jesu, ali mi je trebalo dosta vremena da ih napravim, i mnoooogo razlicitih lakova. Ne znam ni sama koje sam sve upotrebila, posto sam ih povadila sve napolje, i uzimala prvu bocicu koja mi padne pod ruku, vodeci racuna samo da se boje ne ponavljaju. Jedino za sta sam 100% sigurna da sam koristila je bela akrilna boja izmedju kockica. I priznajem, bilo je opustajuce :).


Today I wanted to relax a bit, and make some simple nail art. It crossed my mind that colorful squares would look interesting. They are interesting, they are simple, but it took a lot of time making them, and A LOT of nail polishes. I don’t even know which ones I used, since I pulled them all out, and I would take first bottle that was near me, thinking only about not using same bottle twice. Only thing I’m 100% sure I used, is white acrylic paint between squares. And I admit, it was relaxing :).

Simple but attracts attention

Danas sam napravila nail art za koji mogu reci da je privukao mnogo paznje svih koji su ga videli. Cak i osobe koje ne primecuju nokte, ove su primetile. Smesno je, zato sto je ovo najjednostavnije sto sam nacrtala u zadnjih nedelju-dve. Koristila sam samo jedan lak – FlorMar 32, i crnu i belu akrilnu boju. A pogledajte rezultat :)

Today I did a nail art that attracted attention of everybody who have seen it. Even the persons who never look at nails, they noticed this one. It’s funny, because this is the simplest I drew in the last week or two. I used only one nail polish – FlorMar 32, and black and white acrylic paint. And check out result :)

Something like… Nail Fail!

Ne znam sta da vam kazem, sta je ovo… Ali mogu vam reci sta je sve trebalo da ispadne. Prvo sam mislila da bude trouglasti nail art, zatim trouglasti sa tackicama, onda leptir, onda… nesto nedefinisano. I jeste na kraju ostalo nedefinisano, zato sto predstavlja mesavinu svega onoga sto je trebalo da bude. Mozda trouglasti leptir? U svakom slucaju, koristila sam :

I don’t know to tell you,what it is… But I can tell you what it’s suppose to be. First I thought it can be triangular nail art, then triangular with dots, then butterfly, then… something undefined. And in the end it was something undefined, because it represent mix of all those things that it suppose to be. Maybe triangular butterfly? Anyway, I used :

Black stripes

Danas sam lakirala nokte 4 puta, pokusavajuci da napravim nesto sto ce nadmasiti ono od juce, ali nije mi se svidelo ni jedno. Ocigledno, danas mi nije dan. Evo poslednjeg (ostali mi se nisu svideli cak ni toliko da ih uslikam)…

Perfect Nails for Summer

Stvarno mi je vec dosta ovog manjka suncanih dana, pa sam pokusala da “prizovem” sunce pravim letnjim noktima. Kao podlogu, koristila sam Evri 65, lak koji se navodno proizvodi u Bugarskoj, sudeci po deklaraciji. Nemam pojma odakle mi :). Nisam nesto zadovoljna ovim lakom, dosta se tesko maze zbog vodenaste formule, ali sam uspela da dostignem punu pokrivenost posle 4 sloja.
Preko njega, sam nacrtala vodoravne i horizontalne linije, neonsko zutim lakom Golden Rose Nail Art #115.

I am really sick of this lack of sunny days, so I tried to “summon” the Sun with perfect Summer nails. As base, I used Evri 65, polish that is made in Bulgaria, according to declaration. I don’t even know where I bought it and when :). I’m not satisfied with it, it’s hard to apply because of watery formula, but I manage to achieve full opaque after 4 layers.
Over it, I draw vertical and horizontal lines, with neon yellow polish Golden Rose Nail Art #115.

Golden Rose Chameleon Effect 20 – Swatch & Review

Priznajem da sam se malo smirila prilikom kupovina lakova. Ako vas interesuje kako to da uspete – jednostavno je. Ne idite nigde gde postoje da se kupe lakove, makar to bio i supermarket. Narocito sam smanjila kupovinu Golden Rose lakova zato sto ih imam previse, a ni ne znam koje sve boje imam. Jedine koje sam obecala sebi da cu kupiti ako naletim na njih su Chameleon Effect, Holo i Graffiti. Od Holo i Graffiti i dalje ni traga ali sam naisla na ove Chameleon Effect, nazalost samo izmedju dve boje sam imala da biram, zlatne i zelene. Verovatno pretpostavljate – uzela sam oba.
Za danas sam vam odlucila pokazati ovaj zlatni, broj 20 – vise mi se svidela boja. E sad, ne znam sta vi mislite o kameleon lakovima, ali moja ocekivanja su bila da ce on na svetlosti da se presijava u drugu boju. Kod ovog laka ja to nisam primetila. Cetkica mu je super, ali je sav vodenast sto je otezalo aplikaciju i zahtevalo 4 sloja posle kojih jos uvek nisam dobila punu prekrivenost (vide se vrhovi noktiju i dalje). Sve u svemu, ja ne vidim ni K od kameleon u ovom laku. Cak sam pokusala i da stavim ruke na plavu podlogu ocekujuci da ce mozda dobiti plavicasti sjaj, ali nista ni od toga. Po meni, ovo je kao i svaki drugi zuto – zlatni lak.
 
I calm down a little bit with a polish shopping. If you are interested in how to succeed in that – it’s simple. Avoid places that sells them, even some supermarkets. I primary try to shop less Golden Rose polishes, because I have too many of them and I don’t even know which colors I have. Only GRs that I promised myself that I will bye when I see them are from Holo, Graffiti and Chameleon Effect. I still can’t find Holo’s and Graffiti but I have found Chameleon Effect, unfortunately there was only two color – gold and green. You can guess – I bought both of them.
For today I decided to show you gold one, number 20 – I liked the color a lot. Now, I don’t know what do you think of chameleon polishes, but my expectations were that they will change color on the different light. I didn’t noticed it. Brush is pretty good, but it’s kind of watery and that makes the application hard. I had to apply 4 layers and even after that I couldn’t achieve total opaque (you can still see tips). Anyway, I don’t see even C of Chameleon in this polish. I even try to put my hands on blue pad thinking that it will get bluish, but nothing from that. At my opinion, this is like every other yellow-gold polish.
 






Na kraju sam dodala i par cirkona i sarica akrilnom bojom. Kako vam se svidja ovaj lak? Jeste li probale neke “Kameleon” lakove?

At the end, I added few rhinestones and lines with acrylic color. Do you like this polish? Did you tried any “Chameleon” polishes?

Mini Aura

Nisam raspolozena da pisem, ne znam sta mi je. Toliko mi se toga skupilo u licnom zivotu, problemi u kuci, problemi na fakultetu, i jos me hvata i PMS. Mozete pretpostaviti kako je… Ali nokte i dalje lakiram :). Priznajem, malo redje, ali tu sam na svakih 2-3 dana. Ono sto ce obradovati neke od vas je – skratila sam nokte :). Kockasti, jednaki, iako se i dalje mucim sa palcem koji je puknut onako po sredini. Nego, ajde malo o lakicu. Decko mi ga je kupio, a da cak nisam morala ni da mu kazem :). Mozete da zamislite kako sam iznenadjena bila. Mozda ne zna koju marku da izabere, ali boju je utrefio :D. Nebesko plava Aura, 28, u mini pakovanju od 4ml. Kupio mi je jos jedan, malo tamniji plavi, ali o tome drugi put. Sto se ovog tice, boja je lepa, ali mazanje je katastrofa. Cetkica je toliko minijaturna da ne moze da pokupi laka iz bocice dovoljno za mazanje pola jednog nokta. To daje rezultat da se svaki potez cetkice vidi, i da ne moze da dodje do izjednacavanja niti posle 3 sloja. Dalje mi se nije dalo da isprobavam :D.

I’m not really in the mood for writing, I don’t know why. I have so many problems right now in personal life, troubles in home, troubles on college, and I have PMS. You can guess how it is… But I still polish my nails :). I admit, little bit rarely, but I’m here on every 2-3 days. Something that some of you will be glad to hear – I shorten my nails. They are cubic shape, even, but I still have troubles with thumb that have crack in the middle. Let’s talk about polish :). My boyfriend bought it for me, and even didn’t had to tell him :). You can imagine my surprise. Maybe he don’t know which brand to pick, but he knows color I love. Sky blue, Aura 28, in mini bottle of 4 ml.He bought me one more, dark blue, but I’ll show you some other time. About this, color is beautiful, and applying is disaster. Brush is so miniature, that it can’t even pick enough polish from bottle for applying on half of one nail. That resulted that every move of the brush is visible, and it can’t be even until 3 layers. I wasn’t in the mood to try the 4th one…



Kako bi pokrila ocigledan nedostatak ovog laka, crtala sam malo sa Golden Rose Nail Art 116. Nista posebno, sa nekoliko greskica, ali – bas tako sam htela :D.

To cover up obvious lack of this polish, I draw a little bit with Golden Rose Nail Art 116. Nothing special, with some mistakes, but- I wanted that way :D.





Ranije sam bila poprilicno zadovoljna Aurom, ali onom u velikim bocicama. Ne znam da li im je razlika izmedju obicnih i mini bocica samo u kolicini, ili ima razlike i u formuli, ali probacu da nadjem ovakvu boju u velikoj bocici da uporedim. Jeste li vi probale Auru? Ona se vodi kao najpoznatiji brend iz Srbije, ali ne znam ni da li izvoze…

I was pretty satisfied with Aura before, but with only the one in the big bottle. I don’t know is difference between regular and mini bottles only in quantity, or is there difference in formula too, but I’ll try to find this color in big bottle and to compare it. Did you tried Aura? They are most famous make-up brand that is manufactured in Serbia, but I don’t know are they doing export…

Single Yellow

Obozavam da pronalazim nove marke lakova, a jos kad ih ima u tako lepim bojama – perfektno. Pa, uz sav moj trud, nisam uspela da saznam nista posebno o ovom brendu. Na laku pise “Single – Butterfly Collection”, a na deklaraciji da je zemlja porekla Poljska. Ovog puta – zuta boja #244. Prvo bih volela da pohvalim dizajn bocice. Toliko su slatke. Cetkica je malo kratka, ali to i prilici laku u takvoj bocici. Moram reci da sam odusevljena iako to nisam ocekivala. Lak u 2 sloja uspeva da pokrije sve, a susi se neverovatno brzo (bukvalno za 30ak sekundi) i to bez Sehe Vite. U sebi ima nekog zlatkastog shimera koji se predivno presijava na suncu. Naravno, njega nisam bas uspela da uhvatim fotoaparatom.

I just love discovering new brands of polishes, and when they are in so many pretty color – it’s perfect. Well, with all my effort. I couldn’t find out anything special about this brand. On the bottle it says “Single – Butterfly Collection”, and on the declaration I saw that it came from Poland. This time – yellow one #244. First I want to tell you about bottle. It’s so cute! Brush is a little bit shorter, but it’s ok when you look at size of the bottle. I must say that I’m very satisfied with this polish- although I didn’t expect that. Polish succeed to cover all with 2 layers, and it dries very fast (literally in less then 30 seconds) and that’s without Sehe Vite. It has some gold shimmer inside, that is shining on the sun. Of course, I couldn’t catch it with my camera.

I onda malo crtanja akrilnim :)…

Marker’s mani

Evo me, kao sto sam i obecala sa lepim vestima. Uspela sam da polozim sve ispite koje sam planirala za ovaj rok. Tako da sam slobodna ko ptica na grani do sledeceg roka :). Dok sam ucila, od velike pomoci su bili fluorescentni markeri kojima obozavam da podvlacim tekstove. A posluzili su i kao inspiracija za nokte. Posto uvek koristim 3 markera – zuti, narandzasti i zeleni, takvi su i nokti.


Here I am, as I promised, and with good news. I succeed to pass all exams that I planned for this deadline. I’m free as a bird until next one :). While I was studying, fluorescent markers were very helpful and I love to underline texts with them. They also served as an inspiration for my nails. Since I always use 3 colors of markers – yellow, orange and green, nails are the same.

Nails can be useful weapon

Vreme je ispita, tako da provodim dane u ucenju. Imala sam ispit iz nemackog jezika i bilo je nekih reci koje stvarno nisam mogla da zapamtim kako se pisu. Posto ne umem da prepisujem na ispitima (uvek se uplasim), dobila sam ideju kako da prepisujem a da budem samouverena. Znala sam da me niko nece uhvatiti… A to je i dokaz da nokti ne moraju biti samo estetski dodatak, vec i korisno oruzje.
 
It’s a exams time, so I spend all my time studying. I had a German Language exam, and there were some words that I really couldn’t remember how to spell. Since I can’t cheat on test (I always get scared), I got idea how to cheat and be self-confident. I knew no one will caught me…. And that’s the proof that nails doesn’t need to be only esthetic accessory, they can be useful weapon too.



Koristila sam tamnu podlogu, uz svetao tekst. Na slici se ne vidi bas sve kako treba zbog blica, ali verujte mi – uzivo je tacno onako kako treba. Ovako mozete varati na testovima samo ukoliko ima stvarno malo reci koje ne mozete da zapamtite, ali se moze koristiti i za matematicke formule, dijagrame…
Ispisala sam samo levu ruku, posto pisem desnom. A na desnoj sam napravila linije koje prate boju i duzinu teksta. Tako da gledajuci iz daleka, obe ruke izgledaju iste.

I used dark color base, with light color text. On the picture you can’t see everything because of the flash, but trust me – in live it’s right how it’s suppose to be. These way you can cheat on tests only if you have really small amount of words that you can’t remember, but you can use it for mathematical formulas, diagrams…
I wrote it only on my left hand nails, because I write with my right hand. On right hand nails, I draw lines that follow the color and length of text. That way, when somebody look from far, they see bought hands with “same” nails.
