Twin Post–Cool Colors

Još jedan Twin Post. Ovog meseca, moj blizanac se Hannah sa bloga the Dalai Lama's Nails a zadatak koji smo dobile su hladne boje. Čini mi se kao da nijedna od nas dve nije imala nešto posebno inspiracije, pošto nam je bilo teško da smislimo šta ćemo da radimo. Na momenat smo i odustale, a onda se ipak odlučile da napravimo optičku iluziju sa brojevima.

Another Twin Post. This month, my twin is Hannah from the Dalai Lama's Nails and we got cool colors as our task. It seems to me like either of us didn't have too much inspiration, because it was really hard to think of something that we can do. On moment, we even gave up, and then decided to do optical illusion with numbers.

Matching Manicures - Galaxy

Tema za Matching Manicures nedelju ove nedelje je galaxy ili water marble. Budimo iskreni, meni apstraktne stvari ne idu od ruke. Moram da vidim (ili zamislim) tačne linije objekta koji crtam da bi mogla da ga stvarno i nacrtam. A kada su u pitanju apstraktne stvari kao što je galaxy (o water marble-u nisam htela ni da razmišljam jer je jedina tehnika koju nikad nisam probala), nema šta da se zamisli. A o čišćenju prstiju ne želim ni da počnem...

Theme for Matching Manicures Sunday this week is galaxy or water marble. Let’s be honest, I'm not really good with abstract things. I need to see (or imagine) exact lines of object that I'm drawing to actually be able to draw it. And when it comes to abstract things like galaxy (I didn't even want to think about water marble since it’s the only technique that I never tried before), there is nothing to imagine. And don’t let me start about cleaning fingers...

Last thing I needed to happened was broken nail, and it happened. I'm going to tell you, galaxy doesn't look good on short nails. Check it out...

Just a Simple Dotting Mani

Svake godine kada odem na letovanje, polomim sve nokte i ruke mi postanu neverovatno suve. Taman kada sam pomislila da sam ove godine imala sreće, krenulo je listanje. Počinjem da verujem da nije krivo more već ove visoke temperature. Boreći se sa lomljivim i kratkim noktima, smislila sam jednostavan nail art koji možete napraviti koristeći samo tačkalo. 

Lakovi za nokte koje sam koristila su : Essence - i theBalm - Silver Spoon me.

Every year when I go on vacation, I break all my nails and my hand become really dry. I thought about how lucky I was this year, and then my nails started to peal. I now think that it isn't because of the sea, but because these high temperature we are dealing with. Struggling with breaking and short nails, I did this simple nail art which you can do using just a dotting tool.

Nail polishes that I used are : Essence - Bella and theBalm - Silver Spoon Me.

Narrow it Down

Ovakav i slične manikire sam sigurna da ste videle milion puta do sada. Ali jednostavno sam morala da ga napravim jer su mi se ova dva laka činila potpuno kompatibilna. Lakirala sam jedan, pa drugi, pa opet prvi, pa drugi i svaki put malo sužavala površinu nokta. Čini mi se da bi možda bilo lakše da sam ručno nacrtala linije, ali ovako je definitivno bilo izazovnije. Koristila sam : Gade #461 i theBalm - Pink or Swim. 

I'm sure you have seen this and similar manicures a lot of times before. But I just had to do it because these two polishes seemed completely compatible. I painted my nails with first one, then with second one, and then first one again, and second and I kept narrowing down the area of the nails with every next coat. It seems to me that it would be easier for me to draw that lines with free hand, but this way it was more challenging. I used : Gade #461 and theBalm - Pink or Swim.

WOW with Flowers

Wow #309 je lak koji sam dobila iz Izraela. Bočica me je nasmejala već na prvi pogled zbog slatkog malog cvetića umesto slova O, a boja u njoj se činila crvenom. Na noktima, boja je postala neonsko narandžasta sa mat  završetkom. Na nju sam dodala i par tačkastih cvetića sa theBalm - Oh My Goth. 

Wow #309 is a polish that I got from Israel. Bottle made me smile on a first look because of a cute little flower instead of letter O, and color in it looked red. On nails, color became kind of neon orange with matte finish. Over it, I added few dotted flowers with theBalm - Oh My Goth. 

Sve u svemu, lepa boja za ove tople letnje dane. Da li se vama dopada?

Inspired by Nina's nails

Pre skoro mesec dana, Nina sa bloga nina's nails je objavila njen manikir sa ovim nalepnicama za nokte. Prvo sam videla samo sliku na njenoj Facebook stranici, i moja prva reakcija je bila "Kako je ovo nacrtala"?  Onda sam posetila njen blog, i shvatila da su u pitanju nalepnice (više o tome, možete pročitati OVDE).

About a month ago, Nina from nina's nails blog published her manicure with this nail stickers. First I saw only a picture on her Facebook page, and first thing that I thought was "How did she draw this"? Then I visited her blog and realized that this cute art are stickers (for more about that, you can read HERE).

Kada sam joj rekla šta sam prvo pomislila, predložila mi je da rekreiram ovaj njen manikir ali sa ručnim crtanjem. Znate li šta je usledilo?

When I told her what I thought at first, she suggested me to recreate this manicure but to do it free handed. Do you know what I said?

U mojoj rekreaciji, linije su malo deblje, ali razumite da nisam štampač i da je ovo verovatno najtanje što sam mogla. Malkice sam izmenila i boje, čisto da vidim kako će to izgledati ako se doda malo više žuto-narandžastih nijansi. 

Koristila sam : Essence - Bad Girl. Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Essence - Do  A Floating Pirouette, Essence - Sundancer, Catrice - Jade is Not My Name, theBalm - A Case of the Blues, Essence - The One And Only, Essence - Bella i akrilne boje. 

In my recreation, lines were a little bit thicker, but you understand that I'm not a printer and this is probably the thinnest I could do. I also changed colors a little bit, just to see how it will look if you add more yellowish-orange shades. 

I used : Essence - Bad Girl. Catrice - Bye, Bye Birdy!, Essence - Do  A Floating Pirouette, Essence - Sundancer, Catrice - Jade is Not My Name, theBalm - A Case of the Blues, Essence - The One And Only, Essence - Bella and acrylic paints.

Dots&Stripes

Poslednjih dve nedelje prošle su kao jedan dan. Imala sam ispite, noći i dane sam provodila učeći, a u onim pauzama, igrajući se sa mojim novim krznenim bebicama-mačićima. Jedini manikir koji mi je stajao za to vreme na fotoaparatu je ovaj, sa linijama i šarama, a u međuvremenu, nokti su mi bili jednobojni. 

Za ovaj manikir, sećam se da sam koristila akrilne boje, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude? i gomilu lakova toplih boja. 

Last two weeks were like a day for me. I had my finals, I spent days and nights studying, and in breaks, I played with my new fur babies - kitties. Only mani that was on my memory card all this time was this, with lines and dots, and in the meantime, my nails were plain colored. 

For this mani, I remember that I used acrylic paints, Essence - Did Someone Say Nude? and bunch of warm colored nail polishes. 

Jedva čekam da pregledam vaše blogove i vidim šta sam propustila. 

Narednih dana očekujte jedan post o lakićima koji su stigli poštom, moj rođendanski poklon i iznenađenje koje sam imala, kao i swatch jednog laka koji sam dobila a napravljen je samo za mene. 

I naravno, da vas podsetim, od sutra, Google Reader nestaje, tako da ne vredi više da me pratite preko GFC. Kao odličnu zamenu, preporučujem Bloglovin'.

Recipe for Amazing Nail Art

Šta ispadne kada pomešate sjajno i mat, onda dodate malo neonskih boja i na to dodate malo malo duohrom efekta? Verujte mi, ovaj recept je sjajan. Možda sam trebala dodati još neki hologramski detalj da sve to začinim još malo ali i ovako izgleda divno. 

Koristila sam : Essence - Romeo, Black acrylic paint, Ebalay A08, Flormar N002, Flormar N008, Flormar N014, Rapsodi #191 i Isabelle Dupont #282. 

What do you get when you mix shiny and matte, and then add a little bit of neon colors and on top of it you add some duochrome effect? Trust me, this recipe is grate. Maybe I could add some holographic details to spice it all a little bit more, but it definitely looks amazing this way. 

I used : Essence - Romeo, Black acrylic paint, Ebalay A08, Flormar N002, Flormar N008, Flormar N014, Rapsodi #191 and Isabelle Dupont #282.

Birthday Holographic with Bows

Danas mi je rodjendan, pa sam napravila nokte koji mi mame osmeh na svakom koraku :). Ako postoji jedna stvar za kojom sam načisto poludela tokom zadnjih godinu dana, to su holo lakovi za nokte. Jedan od njih, koji se priključio mojoj kolekciji zahvaljujući uskršnjem menjanju lakova i poklonu od drage Lise, je Depend #2036. Predivan plavo-zeleni hologramski lak koji na suncu (kojeg, na svu sreću, danas ima), prikazuje ceo jedan spektar boja. 

Today is my birthday, so I made nail art that makes me smile all day :). If there is a one thing that I totally went crazy for in a last year, it is holographic nail polishes. One of them, who joined my collection during Easter nail polish swap as a gift from lovely Lisa, is Depend #2036. Gorgeous bluish-green holographic nail polish that on a sun (luckily, we are having a sunny day) shows whole color spectrum. 

Na vrh ovoga, nacrtala sam mašnicu i tačkice još jednim hologramskim lakom, ovog puta zlatnim China Glaze - It's my turn!

On top of it, I drew a little bow and dots with another holographic nail polish, this time, golden China Glaze - It's my turn!

White Flowers on Holo Base

Kada sam rano jutros lakirala nokte, odlučila sam se za hologramski lak, Catherine Arley #806. A onda sam pogledala kroz prozor i učinilo mi se da ćemo imati još jedan sivi dan sa puno kiše. Shvatila sam da se holo lepota verovatno neće ni videti, pa sam ga premazala sa China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, mlečno belim lakom sa puno šarenih šljokica. Na sve to sam dodala nekoliko belih cvetića i crnih tačkica, i evo kako je ispalo...

When I painted my nails early in the morning, I decided to go with holographic nail polish, Catherine Arley #806. And then I looked through the window and it seemed to me like we will have another grey day with lot of rain. I realized that my holo nails won't show their true holoness, so I covered it with China Glaze – It’s Trap-eze, milky white nail polish with lot of colorful glitter. And on top of everything, I added few white flowers and black dots, and here it is...

Kao što možete predpostaviti, dan je bio sunčan. Možda bi lepše sve ovo izgledalo da sam ostavila samo holo narandžastu podlogu. Šta vi mislite?

Stamping and Dotting

Ponekad, kada nemate baš inspiracije, pečatiranje vaših noktiju je savršeno rešenje. Pomoću njega, čak možete napraviti i nešto potpuno neobično i za vas neočekivano. Moj dan danas, počeo je sa lakiranjem ovog koralnog laka theBalm - Coral Reef-ined. Nisam imala inspiraciju za nikakvo crtanje, a tek par sati kasnije, setila sam se mojih Bundle Monster pločica koje nisam koristila već neko vreme. Napokon, nakon milion puta promenjenog mišljenja, izabrala sam uzorak sa pločice BM - 209 i lak Miyo - Black. Prošlo je malo više od sat vremena, kada su mi se moji nokti učinili dosadnim, pa sam crne tačkice promenila u šarene. A evo i koje sam sve lakove upotrebila za to : Catrice - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, Catherine Arley #08, theBalm - Hella Yella, Essence - Date Me, Essence - Divalicious Red, theBalm - Lilac Any Sence i theBalm - Magenta Disposition. 

Sometimes, when you feel uninspired, stamping your nails is a perfect solution. With it, you can even make something completely oddly and for you unexpected. My day started with painting my nails with theBalm - Coral Reef-ined. I didn't have inspiration for drawing, and few hours later, I remembered my Bundle Monster plates that I haven't used for a while. Finally, after I changed my mind for about a million times, I chose pattern from plate BM - 209 and nail polish Miyo - Black. More than an hour later, I thought about how boring my nails are, so I changed black dots into rainbow dots. And here is the list of all polishes that I used for it : Catrice - Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, Catherine Arley #08, theBalm - Hella Yella, Essence - Date Me, Essence - Divalicious Red, theBalm - Lilac Any Sence and theBalm - Magenta Disposition.
