Matching Manicures - BDay Mani

Danas je još jedna nedelja kada naše blogerke prave manikire na istu temu, a ove nedelje tema je rodjendan, jer je jednoj od naših blogo-drugarica rođendan. Srećan rodjendan Dž. :)

Pošto znam da naša Dž. obožava šljokice, odlučila sam da isprobam nove 3D glitter Golden Rose šljokice #11. Možda nećete verovati, ali kupila sam 4 laka iz ove kolekcije još pre par nedelja, i zaboravila na njih. Sve vreme su bili u mojoj tašni. Pored njih, dodala sam nešto što je trebalo da ispadne baloni.

Da vam kažem nešto i o laku. Iako u bočici izgleda neverovatno privlačno, prava je muka naneti ga. Šljokice je skoro nemoguće uhvatiti, tako da sve što vam ostane na noktu su par šljokica i puno providnog laka. Nakon 3 sloja, evo šta je ostalo... Po meni, još uvek premalo šljokica.

Today is another Sunday when Balkan bloggers are matching their manicures, and this week theme is birthday, because it is a birthday day of one of our blogger friends. Happy Birthday Dz :).

Since we all now that Dz. loves glitter, I decided to try out new 3D glitter Golden Rose #11. Maybe you won't believe me, but I bought 4 polishes from this collection few weeks ago, and I forgot about the. They were in my purse all this time. I also draw something that would suppose to be balloons. 

Let me tell you something about polish. Although in the bottle it looks really attractive, it is really hard to apply it. Glitter is almost impossible to catch, so only thing that you have with each coat is few glitters and a lot of clear polish. After three coats, here it is... If you ask me, it needs more glitter.

For a while now, I wanted to join Balkan blogers in "Matching Manicures" which is published every Sunday, and this Sunday theme was the one that enocurged me to join. As you probably know, October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month. Here are some facts that will maybe force you to take care of yourself and avoid this cruel illness. - One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

- Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women.

Golden Rose Rich Color #44 & Rainbow Stamping Decal

Ovih dana, lap top je baš odlučio da me muči. Nakon par dana nerviranja, sada kao radi (da, ali još uvek neće da otvori pola programa). Danas ću vam pokazati lak koji sam nosila na noktima pre par dana, Golden Rose Rich Color #44. Nekako, i dalje mi je teško da se naviknem na odličnu četkicu i dobru formulu Golden Rose lakova. I dalje ih pomalo izbegavam zbog iskustva sa onom njihovom standardnom linijom. 

Uglavnom, ovaj lak je poprilično dobar. Nanosi se u dva sloja, što me nije sprečilo da nalakiram četiri. Naime, imala sam problema sa ostavljanjem tragova četkice na noktima, pa sam lakirala dok god nisam postigla ujednačenu površinu. Za ovu boju, vredelo je. 

These days, I had a lot of troubles with my lap top. After few days of that, now it is kind of working (yes, it still doesn't open half of files). Today I'm going to show you nail polish that I wore few days ago, Golden Rose Rich Color #44. Somehow, it is still hard for me to get use to a great brush and good formula of Golden Rose polishes. I still kind of avoid them because of the experience that I had with their standard line. 

Anyway, this nail polish is pretty good. It is opaque in two coats, which didn't stop me to apply four. I had a problems with brush strokes that showed on nails after every move, so I kept on polishing until I reached a evened area. For this color, it was worth it. 

Nakon toga, odlučila sam da probam da sama napravim nalepnice pomoću pečata. Pratila sam tutorijal sa bloga Spellbinging Nails. 

After that, I decided to try out to make stamping decals. I followed a tutorial that you can find here, on Spellbinging Nails blog.

Ovo je stvarno odlična tehnika, i, iako umete da pečatirate nokte, umećete i ovo. Posebno mi je interesantna jer mogu da pola dana nosim samo lak na noktima, a onda samo zalepim nalepnicu koju sam ranije napravila.

This is really a great technique, and, if you can stamp nails, you can do this. I find it especially interesting because I can wear only nail polish for half of a day, and then just stick decal that I made earlier.

Hello everyone! I'm so exited to have this guest post! :) 

So today I have for you a design I created with striping tape, over the gorgeous Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 110. I actually got this polish from Marijana in a swap we both participated in, and it seemed appropriate to review this beauty here :) I used 2 coats here, and I'm very happy with the result. The only problem with this polish is the removal - It takes forever!! I think in this case it would be a good idea to use aluminium foil in the removal :) 

In order to make things a but more interesting, I added with a striping tape this black polish triangle. And on top of that - another red shimmer triangle (to go with the glitter! :) with China Glaze - Cranberry Splash!

Paint Your Nails like... Anne Hathaway

Sigurno ste čuli za glumicu Anne Hathaway. Obožavala sam da je gledam u mnogim filmovima, ali najupečatljivija mi je ostala u filmu "Đavo nosi Pradu". Tokom dodele SAG nagrada, Anne Hathaway je prošetala tepihom u prelepoj crnoj haljinici i kreč belim noktima sa nacrtanim leptirićima. 

I'm sure you heard about actress Anne Hathaway. I loved a lot of films that she acted in, but my favorite movie with her in a main roll is "Devil Wears Prada". During a SAG Award Show, Anne Hathaway walked down the red carpet wearing a gorgeous black dress and white nails with painted butterflies.

Ovaj nail art je bio toliko inspirativan za mene, da sam ga rekreirala. Umesto kreč bele, odlučila sam se za mlečno belu pozadinu, a uz crne leptiriće, dodala sam i tačkice.

Koristila sam : theBalm - Pale in Comparison, Golden Rose #202, i crnu akrilnu boju.

This nail art was so inspiring for me, that I had to recreate it. Instead white paint, I decided for milky white background, and with black butterflies I also added some dots.

Ako ste bile ovde negde tokom marta, sigurno ste pročitale da sam veoma zauzeta zbog jednog malog projekta. Projekat je bio velik, a u pitanju je takmičenje u crtanju na plastičnim tipsama u kutiji. Tema je bila Bajke Braće Grim, a ja sam se odlučila za moju omiljenu, Pepeljugu. Trebalo mi je mnogo vremena ali uspela sam da je nacrtam. Nekima se svidela, nekima ne, ali meni je bitno sa sam ja zadovoljna sobom. Ovaj post ću ostaviti lepim, tako da vam neću pričati ništa više o takmičenju (za priču o tome, svratite sutra). Takođe, moram priznati i da je bio izazov crtati na ovako velikim tipsama. Iako, ako se ja pitam, veća je umetnost znati nacrtati nešto na jednom kvadratnom centimetru nego na ovoliko velikom platnu. 

Posebno bi želela da se zahvalim sajtu Born Pretty Store jer bez njihovog sponzorisanog materijala ne bi uspela sve ovo da napravim tako kako jeste. 

Lista korišćenog materijala je predugačka, nikada ranije nisam upotrebila toliko različitih lakova (35!), ali ipak ću vam je napisati : 

If you were here in March, I'm sure you read that I was very busy with one little project. Project was huge, and it is contest for nail art on tips in box. Theme was Grimms' Fairy Tales and I chose my favorite, Cinderella. It took a lot of time and effort to draw it. Someone like it, someone dislike it, but most important thing for me is that I was satisfied with my work. I will leave this post nice so I won't tell you anything else about this contest (for story about it, come back tomorrow). Also, I have to admit that it was a challenge to draw on such a huge tips. Although, if you ask me, I think that it is harder and challenging to draw on a small nail than on such a huge canvas. 

I would especially like to thank to Born Pretty Store because without their sponsored material I would never succeed in making it like this.

Drag&Drop Flowers

Vidim da vam se dopala tehnika koju sam ja izumela (mnogo se bitno osećam kada ovo kažem :D) Drag & Drop. Prošli put sam pokušavala na celom noktu, a ovog puta sam odlučila da vam pokažem nail art koji može da se uradi ovom tehnikom. Mogućnosti su beskonačne, samo mi treba vremena da ih pronađem :).

Drag&Drop tehnikom naparavila sam bele cvetiće. Pre toga, nalakirala sam dva sloja China Glaze - Eyes Like Sapphire. Beli cvetići su crtani sa Golden Rose #203 i jednim jedinim alatom bez kog ova tehnika ne bi bila moguća - tačkalom.

I saw that you liked that technique that I invented (I fell so important when I say that :D) Drag & Drop. Last time I did it on whole nail, and this time I decided to show you how nail art looks when it is done with this technique. Possibilities are endless, I just need time to discover all of them :). 

White flowers are made with Drag&Drop technique. Before that, I applied two coats of China Glaze - Eyes Like Sapphire. White flowers are drawn with Golden Rose #203 and the only tool that is needed for this technique - dotter.
