Nail Mail & Haul in July

Ubedjena sam da necu kupiti vise ni jedan lak ovog meseca, i to samo zbog toga sto idem na letovanje sledece nedelje. Pa, da vam pokazem koji su se novi lakovi pridruzili mojoj kolekciji. Ono cemu sam se najvise obradovala, stigao mi je swap paketic od Nicole sa Epitome of Superficialit bloga. Posle 5 meseci u putu od Singapura do Srbije, iskreno, mislila sam da je izgubljen i da nikada nece stici. Kad ono, postar :). Diznijeve zloce su prelepe, i kao veliki fan Diznijevih crtaca, ne mogu da docekam da ih probam. 

I'm convinced that I won't buy any more polish this month, only because I'm going on vacation next week. So, let me show you which new polishes joined my stash. The ones that I am most glad, I got a swap package from Nicole from Epitome of Superficiality blog. After 5 months in transit from Singapore to Serbia, to be honest, I thought it was lost and that it will never arrive. And then, mailman :). Disney Villains are gorgeous, and as a huge fan of Disney cartoons, I can't wait to try them out.   

Sledeca dva sam dobila od moje tetke za rodjendan. U pitanju su dva pucajuca laka. Ako prepoznajete naziv marke prvog, recite mi, posto nisam sigurna kako se zove, a broj je #08. Zeleni lak je Rose Girl #19.

Next two, I got from my aunt for birthday. Two crackle nail polishes. If you recognize name of the first one, tell me, because I'm not sure how to name it, and number is #08. Green one is Rose Girl #19.

Prosle srede, bilo je 20% snizenje u Lilly drogerijama na sve lakove za nokte, i otisla sam planirajuci da kupim mnogo toga. Srecom po moj novcanik, izbor je bio jako mali, pa sam uzela samo jedan, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold. Isti dan, popodne, bila sam u Madjarskoj u shopping, i kupila Farmasi #74.

Last Wednesday, there was a 20% off sale in Lilly stores on all nail polishes, and I went with a plan to buy a lot of things. Luckily for my wallet, there were only polishes left, so I took one, Aura Inches - Dig that Gold. Same day, in the afternoon, I was shopping in Hungary, and bought Farmasi #74.

China Glaze Kaleidoscope kolekcija se pojavila i nestala jos pre par godina. U Srbiji se retko mogu pronaci nove kolekcije bilo kog brenda, ali prednost je sto starih jos uvek imamo :). Zato sam malo prosetala po prodavnicama i pronasla dva holo laka iz ove kolekcije, He's Going in Circles i It's my turn. 

China Glaze Kaleidoscope collection was in stores few years ago. In Serbia, you can rarely find new collections of any brand, but advantage is that we still have old ones :). That's why I went for a little store dusty hunting and found two holo polishes from this collection, He's Going in Circles and It's my turn.

I cracked it once again!

Toliko mi se svidja kako Golden Rose Graffiti puca, da sam morala opet da ga upotrebim. Opet beli #01, ovog puta preko Golden Rose Pretty Color #141, prelepog crvenog laka koji svoju punu pokrivenost postize iz 2 sloja. Nedavno sam procitala u nekom magazinu da crveni lak za nokte ostavlja najbolji utisak na muskarce, i da oni jednostavno ne mogu da ga ne primete. Zato sam se i odlucila za ovu boju, da bi proverila tu cinjenicu, i mogu vam reci da bas i nije tako. Mnogo vise njih je primecivalo Essence – Where is the party (verovatno zbog mnostva njegovih boja), a ovaj lak nisu primecivali sve dok nisam stavili preko njega Graffiti. To je ipak malo interesantnije. Tako da ako zelite da privucete paznju nekom muskarcu svojim noktima, ja predlazem duo/multi-chrome lakove. Crveno ipak ostavite za sebe :)


I liked so much how Golden Rose Graffiti crackle, so I had to use it again. Again white #01, this time over the Golden Rose Pretty Color #141, beautiful red polish that is fully opaque with 2 coats. I have recently read in some magazine that red nail polish leaves most expression on men, and that they must notice it. That’s why I chose this color, just to see if that fact is true, and I can tell it isn’t really that way. More of them noticed Essence – Where is the party (probably because of lots of colors in it), and this polish they didn’t noticed until I putted Graffiti over it. That’s probably little bit interesting for them. So if you want to use your nails to attract men attention, use duo/multi-chrome. Leave red ones for yourself :)

I choose Graffiti!

Ok, bile ste u pravu u vezi Essenceovog Choose me. Ne secam se imena bloga na kom sam procitala da mu je potrebno 6 slojeva, ali ta devojka totalno nije u pravu. Ne mogu ni da zamislim kako je dosla do toga. Kao sto ste i rekle trebalo mi je samo 2 sloja i savrseno se svetluca. Pogledajte tu lepotu….

Ok, you were right about Essence – Choose me. I don’t remember the name of the blog where I read that it needs 6 coats, but that girl is totally wrong. I can’t even imagine how she got to that.  As you said, it needed only 2 coats and it shines perfectly. Check out that beauty…





Svesna sam da me ne bi ubilo da sam stavila jos jedan sloj, ali imala sam druge planove koje nisam mogla da docekam. Prvi put sam ih videla kod Nine na blogu i otada ih jako zelim. Trazila sam ih zadnjih 2-3 meseca i napokon sam ih se docepala. Barem jednog od njih. Golden Rose Graffiti – 01. Cena mu je malo veca nego sto sam navikla kada su Golden Rose lakovi u pitanju (oko 3€) ali mogu vam reci da vredi i vise. Posto se susi na mat i ostavlja neravnine, premazala sam ga sa SV.


I’m aware that it wouldn’t killed me to add another coat, but I had different plans that I couldn’t wait. First time I saw them on Nina’s blog  and since then I want them. I was trying to find them in last 2-3 months and they are finally in my hands. At least one of them is. Golden Rose Graffiti – 01. Price is little bit higher than I used to when I buy Golden Rose (about 3€) but I can tell you they worth more. It dries matt and leaves bumps, so I polished SV over it.

Crackle French & Nail Art

U toku spremanja za put, nabrzaka sam namazala nokte. Za podlogu, uzela sam pink Isabelle Dupont 415 (mogli ste videti swatch i recenziju ovde), a onda sam naletela na moj stari i jedini Crackle lak – Tina (moze biti i Sina, nerazumljivo je napisano). Mozda se secate koliko sam bila uzbudjena kad sam ga pre par meseci kupila, a zatim se razocarala kad sam shvatila da se skida sa noktiju vodom. Tako da ne mozete ni ruke da operete :). Tada nisam imala SV, tako da sam odlucila da mu dam jos jednu sansu – ali u malo drugacijem izdanju. 

While I was packing today for a road, I did a quick mani. For base coat, I used pink Isabelle Dupont 415 (you could see review and swatch here), and then I found my one and only crackle polish – Tina (maybe it’s Sina, font is strange). Maybe you remember my excitement when I bought it few months ago, and then I disappointed when I realize that it comes off with water. So you can’t even wash hands :). Then I didn’t have SV, so I decided to give my crackle another chance – but with a different look.





Kao sto vidite probala sam french i nail art. Za french, ovaj lak je sasvim ok, i cak smatram da veoma lepo izgleda. Opet, za nail art vam ne bih preporucila crackle lakove. Vecina njih se jako brzo susi, tako da nemate vremena da koristite drugu cetkicu, da crtate polako i razmisljate o tome.
Sto se tice mog crackle laka, SV mu je malo pomogao ali ne dovoljno. Priznajem da se nije skinuo tokom pranja ruku, ali jeste posle par sati. Sledeci put probacu 2+ sloja SV pa ako se i onda skine, ne znam sta cu.
Inace, sutra idem za Madjarsku, na par dana na odmor. Ne brinite, spremila sam vam nesto za citanje i dok nisam tu, a na komentare cu odgovoriti cim budem mogla.

As you can see, I tried french and nail art. For french mani, this polish is totally ok, I even think that it looks very nice. Although, for nail art I don’t recommend it. Most of the crackle polishes is fast drying, so you don’t have time to use a different brushes, to draw slowly and to think about it.
About my crackle polish, SV helped it but not enough. I admit that it didn’t come off during the hand washing, but it did after just a few hours. Next time, I will try to use 2+ layers of SV and if it comes off then, I don’t know what will I do.
By the way, tomorrow I’m going to Hungary for a few days on Vacation. Don’t worry, I prepared for you something to read while I’m not here, and I will answer on your comments as soon as I’m back.

Crackling effect – NOT

Proslo je vec vise od 3 meseca kada sam kupila ovaj Crack Lacquer Tina Deep Blue, ali nikako nisam imala vremena da ga isprobam. I dobro je sto nisam. Za bazu sam odlucila da stavim Golden Rose 227 koji je pink boje pa sam mislila da ce se lepo uklopiti. Na kraju, ni ne vidi se da je ispod pink, vise je belo.
It has been more than three months when I bought this Crack Lacquer Tina Deep Blue, but I didn’t have time to try it out. And it’s good that I didn’t.
For the base I decided to put the Golden Rose 227, which is pink and I thought it would be a nice fit. Finally, you can’t even see that it is pink under the crack polish, it’s more white.

Lak se lako maze, stvarno je predivan i lepo izgleda kada pocne da puca.

The polish is easy to apply, it is really beautiful and looks nice when it start to crack.
The first picture is with flash and the second is without flash.


Posle Top Coat-a i 3h susenja, kada sam otisla da operem ruke, oprala sam i sav lak sa noktiju. Dobar je za slikanje, ali ocigledno samo za to.                
Posto u Srbiji nisam videla ni jednu drugu marku ovih lakova, za sad ih vise necu kupovati, a ni koristiti.
After Top Coat and 3 hours of drying, when I went to wash my hands, I washed and all the nail polish. It is good for picturing, but obviously only for that.
Because  I haven’t seen any other brand of these polishes in Serbia, for now I won’t buy them anymore, or use them.
