Essence Colour3 – Midnight Date

Kada sam videla preview kolekcije Colour3 (Essence), htela sam ih sve. Onda sam videla swatcheve, htela sam ih tri, a u prodavnici, samo jedan. Uspeh ako se moj novcanik pita :). I to naravno, plavi "Midnight Date". U dva sloja, lako se maze, tamno plavi sa shimmerom. A njegova druga strana - "City that Never Sleeps", flekiji. Obozavam ih :). 

Na prstenjaku sam ostavila samo flekije, da bi mogle da vidite kako to izgleda, a na ostalim noktima sam belom bojom iscrtala linije i tacke, koje su, kada sam ih premazala flekijima, postale ljubicaste :).

When I saw preview of Colour3 collection (Essence), I wanted all of them. Then I saw swatches, and I wanted three of six, and in store - just one. Success, if you ask my wallet :). And of course, it's blue one, Midnight Date. In two coats, easy to apply, dark blue nail polish with shimmer finish. Its other side - - "City that Never Sleeps", flakies. I love them :).

On ring finger I left just flakies, so you can see how that looks, and on the rest of the nails I draw lines and dots with white, that, when I applied flakies over it, turned into purple :).

I thought I saw a Pussy Cat

Danas sam prvi put probala Rimmel lak koji mi stoji u kutiji vec dugo. Lak je iz njihove 60 seconds kolekcije i zove se Pompous. Prvo sam utvrdila teoriju da ne treba verovati kompanijama kada opisuju svoje proizvode, barem ne u potpunosti. Kazu da je dovoljan jedan sloj (u pitanju su dva, sto je jos uvek dovoljno dobro) i da mu treba manje od 60 sekundi da se osusi (netacno). Ipak, boja je prelepa.

A onda... "Ucinilo mi se da sam video Cica-Macu". Zvuci poznato? Moj plan je bio nacrtati Toma i Dzerija, ali je Dzeri ispao predebelo (pa sam ga obrisala), a Tom ne lici na Toma. Ipak, i dalje je Cica Maca :).

A, sad kada sam otisla da proverim da li je citat dobar, vidim da je to iz Tweety i Silvester, a ne Tom i Dzeri. Moracu da opet gledam sve crtace :). 

Today I tried for the first time Rimmel nail polish that is in my box for a while. Polish is from their 60 seconds collection and it's called Pompous. First I confirmed my theory that you shouldn't believe companies when they are describing their products, at least not completely. They say it's a one coat polish (actually it's two, which is still good), and that it needs less then 60 seconds to dry (false). Although, colour is amazing. 

And then... "I thought I saw a Pussy Cat". Sounds familiar? My plan was to draw Tom & Jerry, but Jerry turned out too fat (so I erased him), and Tom doesn't really look like Tom. But, it's still a Pussy Cat :).

And, now when I went to check is the line good, I saw it's from Tweety&Silvester, not Tom&Jerry. I have to watch cartoons all over again :). 

Sta mislite o ovima? Imate li neki Rimmel koji bi mogle da preporucite?

Magnetic Mix

Nadala sam se da ce neko smisliti ovako nesto :). Kada su u pitanju bili pucajuci lakovi, sa njima nista nije moglo da se radi, samo namazes, i to je to. Dosadno. Mislila sam da ce tako biti i sa Magnetics lakovima, tako da ih nisam previse nakupovala. A onda mi je drugarica poslala tutorijal sa YouTube-a (nisam mogla da ga nadjem, ali ako znate, javite pa cu ga ubaciti). Poenta je bila mesanje vise magnetik lakova na noktu cackalicom, i na kraju to namagnetisati. Ja sam probala da mesam China Glaze - Instant Chemistry i Golden Rose Magnetic Nail Lacquer #9. Isprobala sam to sa Golden Rose magnetom posto mi se cini da je dosta jaci. Najbolji efekat mozete videti na prstenjaku.

I was hoping that somebody will think of something like this :). When it comes to crackle nail polishes, you can't do anything with them, just apply, and that's it. Boring. I thought that same will be with Magnetics nail polishes so I didn't bought lot of them. And then my friend sent me a tutorial from YouTube (I couldn't find it now, but if you know which one is it, let me know so I can link it). The thing is mixing more magnetics nail polishes on nail with a toothpick, and them put a magnet on it. I tried mixing China Glaze - Instant Chemistry and Golden Rose Magnetic Nail Lacquer #9. I tried this with Golden Rose magnet because it seems stronger than China Glaze. Best effect you can see on ring-finger.

Holo Optical Illusion

Vec dugo pokusavam da nacrtam rucno neku vrstu opticke iluzije na noktima, ali mi ne uspeva. Mozda zato i jesu iluziju :D. I danas primetim na Bundle Monster plocici BM-206 nesto sto pomalo i izgleda kao opticka iluzija. Za podlogu, izabrala sam holo Catherine Arley #801. Posto je ovo moj prvi pokusaj pecatiranja celog nokta odjednom, mozete primetiti greske. Vremenom cu se popraviti :). Pecatirala sam sa lakom the Balm - A Case of the Blues. The Balm lakici mi se cine kao da su svi dobri za pecatiranje.

For a while, I'm trying to hand paint on my nails some kind of optical illusion, but I always failed. Maybe that's why they are illusions :D. And today I noticed on Bundle Monster plate BM-206 something that kind of look like an optical illusion. For base, I chose holo Catherine Arley #801. Since this is my first attempt of full-size nail stamping, you can noticed some mistakes. I'll be better :). I stamped with the Balm - A Case of the Blues. The Balm nail polishes seems like they are all really good for stamping.

Sparkly Red Flowers and One Failed Technique

Nesto sam bila zauzeta u zadnje vreme, te nisam obracala puno paznje na nove tehnike crtanja. Osim onih koje nisam u mogucnosti da uradim, ili onih koje mi nisu zanimljive, ostalo ih je sve par koje cu isprobati u narednih nedelju, dve dana. Danas sam smislila da probam tehniku vodenih boja, za koju mozete naci fantastican tutorijal na YouTube-u. Izgleda interesantno, ali samo na slici. 

Pokusala sam da uradim verziju sa raznim varijantama zelene : the Balm - Jade in the USA, Golden Rose Paris #86, Essence - Lime Up, Gabrini #373... i na kraju, izgledalo je toliko neuredno da nisam mogla ni da gledam u to. To je i razlog zasto nema slike. A onda sam smislila da bi mnogo cveca moglo ublaziti taj nered, uzela sam Catherine Arley #801 i Essence - Right, Girl i zapravo napravila nesto sto nije toliko lose.

I was kind of busy lately, so I didn't pay much attention to new drawing techniques. Except for those I'm not able to do, and those that are not interesting, there are just few of them left that I want to try out in the next week or two. Today I tried out water colour drawing. You can find great tutorial on YouTube. It does look interesting, but just on the picture.

I tried to make version with different green shades : the Balm - Jade in the USA, Golden Rose Paris #86, Essence - Lime Up, Gabrini #373...and in the end, it looked so messy that I couldn't even look at it. That's the reason why there is no picture of that. Then I thought that bunch of flowers could make that mess little bit better, so I took Catherine Arley #801 and Essence - Right, Girl, and actually made something that's not that bad.

Jeste probale ovu tehniku? Sta mislite o krajnjem rezultatu? Ako zelite, mogu napraviti jos jednu varijantu ove tehnike da vam pokazem :).
