That is So Unfair!

Sećate li se Kalimera? Obožavala sam da gledam taj crtani kao mala čak iako sam uvek plakala nakon njega. Ovih dana se osećam baš kao i Kalimero, i svet po meni nije fer. Ima nešto što me muči, što po meni nije fer, i imam potrebu sa vama to i da podelim (pošto jeste vezano za nokte i nail art) ali još uvek se dvoumim. Shvatam da često neke stvari nisu fer, ali previše volim da isterujem pravdu. Dok ja razmišljam o tome, vas ostavljam da gledate Kalimera :). 

Koristila sam : Essence - Nude Rules! i akrilne boje.

Do you remember Calimero? I loved to watch that cartoon when I was kid although I always cried after that. These days I'm feeling just like Calimero, and world isn't fair if you ask me. There are things that bother me, which I think that are unfair, and I feel like I should just share that with all of you (because it is nail and nail art related) but I'm still thinking about should I do that. I understand that sometimes things are not fair, but I love justice too much. While I think about that, I'm leaving you with Calimero :). 

I used : Essence - Nude Rules! and acrylic paint.

Pink Feathers

Sećate li se onih perja koja sam kupila na sajmu na štandu Ukraščići za nokte? Morala sam danas da ih probam. Na dodir su bili jako mekani i simpatični, samo nisam znala kako da ih stavim na nokat. Našla sam neko uputstvo na internetu (ne mogu vam dati link jer sam tražila preko mobilnog dok sam bila u putu) u kom je pisalo da je potreban samo bezbojni lak i perje će se samo zalepiti. Možda je problem bio u tome što sam koristila brzosušeći bezbojni lak (Essence BTGN Top Sealer) ali perja su se konstantno odlepljivala. A što sam više slojeva bezbojnog laka stavljala preko njega (misleći da ću ih tako bolje zalepiti) to su delići perja postajali sve čvršći i skidali se u tračicama. Srećom kupila sam više boja perja, tako da imam šansi da isprobam perje opet ali uz neku drugu tehniku lepljenja. 

Lakovi koje sam koristila su : Essence - Sweet Love i Essence - BTGN Top Sealer.

Do you remember those feathers that I bought at the cosmetic fair? I had to try them out today. When I touch them they are so soft and cute, and my only problem was how to apply them on my nails. I found a tutorial on internet (I can't give you link of it because I looked at it while I was on my phone) and it says that you only need clear nail polish and feathers will just stick on them. Maybe problem was that I used quick drying clear nail polish (Essence BTGN Top Sealer) and feathers constantly kept falling apart. And more coats of clear polish I applied over it (thinking that it would be better glued) parts of feathers got very harsh and fell apart in stripes. Luckily, I bought more colors of these feathers so I have another chances to try them out but using some different technique for gluing. 

Nail polishes that I used are : Essence - Sweet Love and Essence - BTGN Top Sealer.

Ruby Pumps and Minnie Mouse

Da li vam se dešavalo da na mnogo blogova pročitate kako se neki lak mora imati u kolekciji a vama baš i nije nešto? To se meni desilo sa China Glaze - Ruby Pumps. Svi su rekli da je jedinstven, a ja sam konstantno odustajala zato što je crven i zato što ima jelly završetak. Nalakirala sam dva sloja, ali još uvek je malo vidljiva linija nokta. Ali da, jeste unikatan.

Have you ever read on many blogs that some nail polish you must have in your collection and you are not really into it? That's what happened with me and China Glaze - Ruby Pumps. Everyone said that it is one of the kind, and I continued giving up on it because it is red and has jelly finish. I applied two coats, and there is still visible nail line. But yes, it is one of the kind.

Nakon što sam dodala bele tačkice znala sam šta, tj ko mi nedostaje. Naravno, Mini Maus. Ipak su to njene boje. 

After I added white dots I knew what, or who is missing. Of course, Minnie Mouse. They are so her colors.

It turns out I really Like them

Da li vam je poznato ono kada vidite neki lak na internetu, i shvatite da to uopšte nije vaša boja, da bi verovatno loše izgledao na vama ili da vam se čak šta više uopšte ne sviđa? Onda odlučite da ga ne trebate imati. I tako sve dok ga ne dobijete na poklon, pa ipak odlučite da ga probate, a onda... Zaljubljeni ste :). 

Iako ne volim braon boju, i smatrala sam da mi ovaj lak neće lepo izgledati na noktima, Sally Hansen - Haute Chocolate mi je dokazao da braon može biti lepa boja. Boja ovog laka se preliva iz braon u bordo u zavisnosti od osvetljenja, a kada još uzmete u obzir da se nanosi u samo jednom sloju - odličan je. 

Are you familiar with that feeling when you see a nail polish on internet, and you know that it is not your color, and you suppose that it will look bad on you or you don't even like it at all? And then you decide that you don't need it until you get it as present, and than you give at a go and try it, and in then end... You're in love :). 

Although I don't like brown color, and I thought that this nail polish will not look good on me, Sally Hansen - Haute Chocolate proved me that brown can look nice. Color of this nail polish goes from brown to dark red depending on light, and when you know that it is one coater - it is great. 

U zadnje vreme, ne sviđaju mi se baš lakovi sa velikim gliterima u sebi. A kada sam videla ovaj Gosh - Girls on Film, mislila sam da su u njemu samo ovi veliki braon heksagonalni gliteri uz mali srebrni gliter. Iako mi se nije svideo na prvi pogled, kada je Haute Chocolate promenio moje mišljenje, dala sam i ovom laku priliku. Uostalom, činilo se da će ova dva laka lepo izgledati zajedno. A na slikama možete viditi da sam bila u pravu...

Lately I'm not really into the nail polishes that has big glitter in it. And when I saw this Gosh - Girls on Film, I thought that is has only big brown hexagonal glitters with tiny silver glitters. Although I didn't like it at first sight, when Haute Chocolate changed my mind, I gave a chance to this nail polish. Besides, it seems to me that these two nail polishes will look nice together. And on the pictures you can see I was right...

Ali, ako mi se ne sviđaju gliteri iz ovog laka, zašto mi se lak sviđa? Zato što je na svetlosti neodoljiv. Teško je bilo uhvatiti holo glitere na slici, ali zato sam sačuvala jednu posebnu. Jeste mutna, ali vam pokazuje ono što ovaj lak čini neodoljivim. 

But, if I don't like glitters from this nail polish, why I like it?. Because it is amazing on light. It was hard to catch holo glitters on pictures, but that's why I saved one special picture. It is blurry, but it shows all those things that makes this nail polish amazing.

Pouka priče je : nikada ne sudite laku prema slikama! Možda baš on krije neko iznenađenje.

Drag&Drop Flowers

Vidim da vam se dopala tehnika koju sam ja izumela (mnogo se bitno osećam kada ovo kažem :D) Drag & Drop. Prošli put sam pokušavala na celom noktu, a ovog puta sam odlučila da vam pokažem nail art koji može da se uradi ovom tehnikom. Mogućnosti su beskonačne, samo mi treba vremena da ih pronađem :).

Drag&Drop tehnikom naparavila sam bele cvetiće. Pre toga, nalakirala sam dva sloja China Glaze - Eyes Like Sapphire. Beli cvetići su crtani sa Golden Rose #203 i jednim jedinim alatom bez kog ova tehnika ne bi bila moguća - tačkalom.

I saw that you liked that technique that I invented (I fell so important when I say that :D) Drag & Drop. Last time I did it on whole nail, and this time I decided to show you how nail art looks when it is done with this technique. Possibilities are endless, I just need time to discover all of them :). 

White flowers are made with Drag&Drop technique. Before that, I applied two coats of China Glaze - Eyes Like Sapphire. White flowers are drawn with Golden Rose #203 and the only tool that is needed for this technique - dotter.
